C37 – Death Bind!
Almost simultaneously, Qin Hongyu summoned his battle spirit as well. The Little White Tower, sensing the charged atmosphere, fixed its gaze intently on the opposing fox spirit.
Qin Hongyu’s mind filled with details about the adversary’s battle spirit:

The fox spirit dashed with incredible speed towards Qin Hongyu’s Serpent Spirit, aiming for a surprise attack. Its tail burst into a soft flame, unleashing the Fox Spirit’s skill “Fox Fire.”
“Little White Tower, dodge its strikes and avoid the flames!” Qin Hongyu instructed.
The Serpent Spirit opted for evasion over a direct clash, conserving its spiritual energy instead of engaging in a draining battle.
Its strategy was to deplete the opponent’s spiritual energy, waiting for a moment of weakness to strike and defeat the enemy. This was Qin Hongyu’s approach.
The Serpent Spirit, “Little White Tower,” slithered like a slippery eel, eluding the Red Fox’s grasp even as it weaved under its feet.
Qin Hongyu’s Serpent Spirit, a thunder-attribute battle spirit, boasted exceptional speed, a trait few other spirits could match.
“Curse it! Qin Hongyu, is your little worm only good for running away?” Ji Buyu was livid, yet powerless to change the course of the battle.
As his spiritual energy rapidly depleted, he knew he couldn’t sustain the “Fox Fire” much longer. He had to make one more attempt.
“Scarlet Fox, Rapid Bite now!” Ji Buyu, unable to contain his frustration, issued the command.
In an instant, the Scarlet Fox transformed into a blazing red comet, hurtling towards the Serpent Spirit.
“You can’t outpace me. Little White Tower, use Electric Arc Flash to evade the bite!” Qin Hongyu said with a cool smile, giving his order.
A cacophony of thunderous roars erupted from Little White Tower as it vanished into thin air, leaving the Serpent Spirit snapping at nothing but the empty space where it had just been.
“Where did that little worm disappear to? How did it just vanish like that?” Ji Buyu’s face was a picture of incredulity.
“You fool, it’s right behind your Scarlet Fox! Little White Tower, use Death Bind!” Qin Hongyu commanded once more.
Little White Tower swiftly coiled its supple body around the Serpent Spirit, unleashing a relentless stream of electric shocks that paralyzed its prey.
The Serpent Spirit’s vitality began to ebb away under the relentless constriction and the paralyzing shocks, its struggles growing feebler by the moment.
“Damn it, what are you all waiting for? Help me out here, my Scarlet Fox is in trouble!” Ji Buyu’s voice was tinged with desperation as he barked orders at his companions.
“Weren’t you the one who wanted a one-on-one fight just now? What’s going on?” The towering figure beside him asked, clearly confused.
“I said attack, now!” Ji Buyu snapped, his patience worn thin.
Without hesitation, the trio summoned their battle spirits: a venomous Scorpion Spirit, a solid Bear Spirit, and a water-based Frog Spirit.
Each of these battle spirits was of the middle class, renowned for their exceptional combat prowess.
