Dong Xin Yan looked at him, her eyes slightly widened, her black pupils suddenly contracted, and her hands clenched tightly.
How did he get discharged? Has his eyesight recovered?
Dong Xin Yan took a closer look, and indeed, those dark eyes no longer appeared dim and lifeless as before, and his gaze had regained its focus.
But, why is he here...what for?

She unobtrusively stepped back, wanting to quietly turn around as if she hadn’t seen anything, but just as her toes began to turn, Gu Ningyi slightly tilted his cheek, his dark eyes lifted lightly, and his gaze landed squarely on her. A deep, magnetic voice sounded, "Get in the car."
As his voice fell, Dong Xin Yan’s heart skipped a beat, and unease quickly began to spread.

Gu Ningyi’s dark eyes returned to her face, the corners of his lips slightly curved, surprisingly using a negotiating tone, "Are you sure you want to talk here?"
This seemed open to negotiation, yet in reality, it was indisputable.
Dong Xin Yan’s slender eyebrows furrowed even more tightly; she glared at Gu Ningyi with resentment. He was always , always loving to grasp at others’ fatal weaknesses to threaten them, yet still wore an utterly innocent expression, making people really want to... punch him hard!
