Mo Yinhe stood up and quickly crossed the room, intending to steady Si Mingjing, whose body was swaying precariously.
Before he could touch her arm, her tall frame of 1.75 meters suddenly shrank into a Little Cutie.
Mo Yinhe accurately caught the soft little body, holding it close, his emotions churning like a stormy sea.
He stared at the little creature in his arms, his eyes instantly moistening, overwhelmed with an ineffable excitement.
This was his familiar baby!
He indeed hadn’t mistaken her.
Baby had said this perfume was only for her, so Si Mingjing was definitely his baby—there was no doubt about it.
In her dragon form, she hadn’t changed her appearance at all; she was the same familiar recipe, the same familiar adorable chibi dragon.
Especially the fine, light pink fuzz on her little belly; just a couple of scrapes from his index finger would make her squirm and roll with laughter in his arms.
"MMH... HA HA... Mo Yinhe... let me go... HA HA HA... stop it... I won’t let you off... HA HA HA... just you wait..."
Mo Yinhe’s fingers scraped across the adorable chibi dragon’s belly several times.
Si Mingjing, both annoyed and ticklish, laughed and rolled around in Mo Yinhe’s arms, her little tail wagging to and fro.
She didn’t want to be like a fish on a chopping block, at his mercy. She tried to transform back into her human form but couldn’t manage it, no matter how hard she tried.
Having lived for twenty years, Si Mingjing had never encountered such a situation. She was both shocked and furious, roaring, "Mo Yinhe, what kind of poison have you given me?"
Her voice was soft and lacked any force. Instead, it was so disarmingly cute.
"Baby, don’t be scared. It’s not poison; it’s to help you get through your estrus period," he soothed. It was the perfume she had concocted herself. It would only help soothe her estrus period; there was absolutely no harm in it.
It would only make her feel so ecstatic she’d want to fly!
This little one never shortchanged herself.
Even though she always claimed the perfume she developed was specifically to counter herself, Mo Yinhe knew perfectly well that every time she smelled the fragrance, she looked as content as a blissful fool, like a fish in water, reveling in her advantage while feigning innocence.
Mo Yinhe picked up a coat hanging on a rack, draped it over her, and carried her in his arms straight out of the bedroom.
"Where are you taking me?"
"Mo Yinhe, I never thought you’d stoop so low as to drug me. Don’t you realize that I’m not your baby?"
"You’ve got the wrong person! Don’t you even know what your own wife looks like? You’re unfit to be called a husband!"
The man ignored her hysterics and took her directly back to his villa, into the bedroom.
Once back in the bedroom, Mo Yinhe set her down on the bed.
The adorable chibi dragon Si Mingjing immediately retreated behind a pillow, her beautiful golden eyes glaring fiercely at Mo Yinhe. Her voice issued a warning, "Mo Yinhe, get a grip! Are you out of your mind because you haven’t taken your medicine tonight?"
Mo Yinhe ignored her. He walked to the wardrobe, rummaged inside, and pulled out a photo album before returning to the bed.
He opened the album, lay down on the bed, and gestured for her to come closer, his voice rich and warmly gentle, "Come take a look."
Si Mingjing pricked up her alert, adorable chibi Dragon Horns. "What do you want me to look at?" she asked, holding her ground.
The entire album was filled with pictures of Si Mingjing in her dragon form.
Mo Yinhe wanted her to see, to understand whether she really was his baby or not.
Mo Yinhe had many questions. For instance, how had she changed her appearance and become the daughter of the Song Family?
How could a minor family like the Songs possibly be worthy of her?
Si Mingjing, steadfast in her pillow fortress, refused to approach. So, Mo Yinhe simply propped up the album and flipped through it page by page for her to see.
Catching an unintentional glimpse, Si Mingjing’s expression shifted to one of slight astonishment. "Isn’t that me?"
