Mo Yinhe entered with a grand stride. This time, he didn’t ask Si Mingjing to try on anything; he simply gave their sizes and instructed the sales associate to wrap up the clothes the mannequins were wearing—the man’s, the woman’s, and the child’s outfits, not a single one to be missed.
He then browsed the store further, picking out several other sets of parent-child outfits.
Si Mingjing stood by, watching Mo Yinhe’s shopping spree. Why is this man buying women’s outfits too? she wondered.

She chided herself for her wild imagination and for being so presumptuous.
Immediately, she couldn’t bring herself to meet Mo Yinhe’s gaze, afraid he would see the guilt in her eyes and mock her for her misguided thoughts.
"Let’s go, time to head back," Mo Yinhe chuckled inwardly, his mood excellent.
After Mo Yinhe settled the bill, his entourage naturally carried the clothes for him. His hands were free, as if he hadn’t bought anything, though little did anyone know how wildly extravagant he had been.
Si Mingjing frowned slightly. "I’m going to the restroom."
After Si Mingjing left, a member of his entourage approached Mo Yinhe, holding a DSLR camera’s memory card. He bowed and reported, "Your Excellency, two reporters were in the mall secretly photographing you shopping for clothes with Miss Si. I’ve already handled it."
Mo Yinhe’s good mood chilled almost imperceptibly at the head guard’s words. The gentle expression vanished from his handsome face. "Did I say to handle it?"
The head guard, still not grasping Mo Yinhe’s point, reported, "Your Excellency, they’re just tabloid reporters. If we don’t deal with this, the gossip will be everywhere."

The slightest activity involving him could land him on the top trending lists; his public standing was unmatched.
Mo Yinhe shot him a cold glance. "Do I seem like someone who cares about gossip?"
The head guard was speechless.
Wasn’t he the ’flower on a high peak,’ the one who usually insisted any tiny bit of gossip be completely suppressed?
He never allowed any hint of scandal to tarnish his name, like a cultivator rigorously adhering to a code of male virtue.
