Aiden had put the coins given to him into the tiny pouch that contained the 200 gold pieces. That was when a system message appeared.
[Do you want to send 270 gold coins into your Inventory?]
This screen made Aiden’s eyes widen slightly, and he said to Alaric, "I’ll be outside for a bit."
Alaric nodded as he raised a cup of beer about to take a drink, "Aye, we’ll be headin’ out soon. Lemme just finish this pint."
Aiden stood up and went outside toward the back of the house. He looked from side to side, and when he was sure he was alone, he simply said, "Yes."
The system responded instantly, and the coins disappeared from sight. A new screen appeared immediately after.

He nodded in approval at this and then remembered he needed to continue with his leveling up. He made the Experience Point Requirement screen appear again.

"Alright, let’s level up," Aiden said to himself while looking at the screen. The system reacted accordingly and a prompt appeared.

[You have gained +1 to each stat]
His magical energy surged after that prompt, and he could feel he had more mana flowing within him.
That turned out better than Aiden had expected, and then he noticed something on the Experience Requirement screen.
It now read:
-[400xp required to go up to Level 3 Hatchling]
On his balance, he still had about 3,750 more experience points. It wasn’t a bad idea to level up further. After all, he absolutely liked the feeling he got from leveling up.
"Level up," Aiden muttered, and the system responded.

Once again, there was a large inflow of mana that coursed through his body.

The progression between levels doubled each time. "Hmm..." Aiden muttered.
It had also suddenly become a difficult choice whether he should level up one more time or raise the strength of his skills.
"Dragon’s Sight served really well," Aiden said to himself, and that was when he decided to level up the skill using the required amount of experience.

[Focused View: 500 meters → 700 meters]
For a moment, he was confused about what to do with the remaining amount. Leveling up felt good, but first he decided to ask the system a vital question that came to mind.
"What are the other stages until I become the Dragon King."
It obliged at once, displaying all stages simultaneously.

Aiden was genuinely startled at the sight of these stages. Of course, it only made sense that each stage had different levels within as well.
"What about the levels in between?" Aiden asked.
[There are ten levels in each stage from Hatchling to Adult Dragon]
[There are twenty levels in each stage from Elder Dragon to Dragon Heir]
[The Dragon King is the Final Stage and there are no levels in between]
"This is going to be a long journey," Aiden whispered to himself, staring at the progression path laid out before him.
