GAMERS: Those that just want to have fun with the combat aspect of The Novus. Highly competitive folk. Since they're always getting gold, they can self-sustain their daily life adventures.
ROLE PLAYERS: Those that stay in-game character. They usually try to hang around with those of the same group. They come up with stories of why they do their everyday stuff and pretend they have been Isekai'd in there. While speaking to the most passionate PLAYERS, you may not know if they are really acting up, or if they really believe their lies.
PASSIVES: Any User who prefers to have a relaxed life inside The Novus, which has stopped leveling up, can be considered a PASSIVE. Because of their low level (around level 30 and up), they usually live in cities and towns to be protected by GUILDS and NPC GUARDS. Most of them work for someone else and crave the latest surge of Entertainment provided by other USERS.
ACTIVES: Although there are some exceptions, the vast majority of ACTIVES are adults. These are the people that do not care about the combat aspect of The Novus, and instead focus on getting large sums of money. They are the owners of businesses and companies inside the System. Always trying to find new ways to get gold, like sponsoring GUILDS and the most powerful warriors. They are always protected by bodyguards and distribute their wealth by buying buildings, mounts, and even entire cities.
COLLARED: These are the criminals inside The Novus. The repeat offenders. Although stealing is totally permitted by the Administrators, there is a list of crimes that will get turn you into a Collared. To name a few, being a repeat sex offender, kidnapping, torturing, and repeatedly kill others in safe zones. The incorrigible are locked on and private from any access to the Novus. Those that willing to reintegrate into society wear a collar, as a reminder of their crimes. The collar will punish them as soon as they try something inappropriate. One can get rid of the collar if they serve their sentence, but these could take in-game years. Once the Santa Marías passengers awake from cryo-stasis, the Collared will be on a list.
