It wasn’t until half an hour later when Su Hongxing had boarded a vehicle smoothly without any obstacles that she confirmed that she had finally managed to escape.

Su Hongxing gripped her phone tightly, angered at Cao Meiyu’s actions once again.
She threw her phone aside, and after about half an hour, she had made up her mind and called Cao Meiyu.
Cao Meiyu was not surprised by Su Hongxing’s call: “Are you calling to plead for Old Madam Jiang? Su Hongxing, since you dare to hurt my daughter, I will let you taste the pain of your loved ones being harmed…”

Su Hongxing sneered, “At first, I thought I could let you go. Cao Meiyu, you are so despicable that I can’t tolerate you anymore! Listen carefully, soon you’ll know the consequences of provoking me, Su Hongxing. I will make the Cao Family a laughingstock in the city!”
With that, she hung up.
She couldn’t leave just yet, at least not until she had made arrangements for Old Madam Jiang and Jiang Su.
The decision to leave this time was too hasty, leaving behind many loose ends.
Cao Meiyu was ruthless, even planning to kill her! She hadn’t done anything disgraceful. Why was it her who had to hide and run, while the Cao Family got off easy?
After ending the call, Su Hongxing immediately bought a ticket with plans to return to Taicheng soon.
Bai Chen had been closely observing Su Hongxing’s actions and reported the good news to Ye Qilan straight away.
“Miss Su has bought a ticket back to Taicheng, she will be back soon.”
Ye Qilan responded noncommittally, “Ensure her safety on the journey, don’t let her suffer any harm.”
Bai Chen was curious about how Ye Qilan was so certain that Su Hongxing would return to Taicheng on her own, but he dared not ask.
