She eventually got out of the car and walked slowly up to Ye Qilan. “Why did you suddenly bring me here?”
“I planted these apricot trees myself, and they’ve grown well over the years,” Ye Qilan said, warmth in his eyes as he looked out at the lush Apricot Forest.
Su Hongxing didn’t know how to respond.
When Ye Xiandong had brought her to the Apricot Garden, she had suspected that this apricot forest had something to do with her. Ye Qilan’s words confirmed her suspicion.
What she didn’t understand was, did Ye Qilan know about her existence fifteen years earlier? After all, this Apricot Garden had been Ye Qilan’s property for the past fifteen years.
