Su Hongxing slowly walked down the stairs, approached Ye Ling, and stared at her coldly, “You called me a mistress, so what about her?”
She pointed at Cao Shiyu, “When Ye Qilan and I were not yet divorced, Cao Shiyu was already ambiguously involved with him. She knew full well that Ye Qilan was a married man but she threw herself at him. What kind of behavior would you call that? The fourth woman, the fifth woman?”
Cao Shiyu retreated several steps under Su Hongxing’s accusatory finger, her eyes showing a hint of panic and her steps unsteady.
“Cao Meiyu once broke up my parents’ marriage, then Cao Shiyu’s cousin, Zhou Luhe, stole my boyfriend, and when I got married, Cao Shiyu came to take my husband. What should their actions be called?!”
Su Hongxing looked at Ye Ling and demanded with a confrontational tone, “Miss Ye prides herself on her strong sense of right and wrong. Tell me then, shouldn’t the women of the Cao family be ground into dust?!”
Ye Ling was left speechless by the question.
She turned her gaze and saw Cao Shiyu shedding silent tears.
Seeing Cao Shiyu in such a pitiful state, Ye Ling stood tall and retorted, “Any normal man would choose a woman as excellent as my sister-in-law Sisi! You are ugly, fat, and fierce, and you are from a poor background. What right do you have to stand by my brother’s side?! It’s not Sisi’s fault, my brother and Sisi are a couple made in heaven—”
Before Ye Ling could finish her sentence, Su Hongxing raised her hand and slapped her face twice without hesitation.
Ye Ling was taken aback by the slap. She touched her trembling fingers to her face, and directly felt the blood at the corner of her lips, she screamed, “How dare you hit me?!”
“Didn’t you say that I was fierce? Now I’ll show you fierce!”
Su Hongxing attacked again, landing two more heavy slaps on Ye Ling’s face, “Now you’ll know what true fierceness is!”
Ye Ling’s face quickly swelled up, but before she could recover, she saw Su Hongxing heading towards Cao Shiyu.
“You can’t touch my Sisi…” Ye Ling’s mouth was swollen, and the pain made her words unclear.
Cao Shiyu backed away in fear as Su Hongxing approached, “What do…what do you want to do?”
Is there no law anymore that Su Hongxing dares to strike people?
Remembering the events of her dream, Su Hongxing said with a laugh, “The women of the Cao family are so good at stealing men, why don’t you form a group of mistresses?!”
“Hongxing, I have stepped back and conceded enough, what else do you want me to do? Do you want me to get down on my knees and beg you?!”
With tears streaming down her face, Cao Shiyu choked out the words.
Su Hongxing laughed, “That’s a good idea, I like it. Cao Shiyu, get on your knees and beg me now.”
Cao Shiyu looked at Su Hongxing with sorrow, “How can you do this? Hongxing, you tell me, what else should I do? I have already put the past behind, shook hands with you in reconciliation. I even want to coexist peacefully with you in the future and willing to recognize you—”
Su Hongxing didn’t wait for her to finish, slamming two slaps on Cao Shiyu’s face.
Cao Shiyu’s face quickly reddened and swelled. She looked incredulously at Su Hongxing, “You…You…”
Noticing Cao Shiyu’s clenched fists, Su Hongxing leaned in with a cheerful smile, “Ye Qilan is upstairs watching the show. You wanted to play the role of a pitiful little white lotus, right? Then take it like a good girl. Even if I decide to beat you to death, don’t make a sound!”
With that, she abruptly shoved Cao Shiyu, sending her sprawling to the ground, landing face up.
