Chapter 376: Drawing the Knife……_1
Su Hongxing glanced back at Ye Qilan, about to leave the room.
But Ye Qilan quickly moves towards her, grabbing her wrist, “Are you deaf? I said you’ll serve Mo Qiu!”
Liu Qingyin, who was worried, came over and saw Ye Qilan pulling Su Hongxing. She hurried forward, “Ye Qilan, what are you trying to do? Let go of my sister!”
“She’s mine, why should I let her go?!” Ye Qilan said, pulling Su Hongxing into the room.
Su Hongxing doesn’t seem angry but instead remains calm, she told Liu Qingyin, “Go call Cao Shiyu over.”
Liu Qingyin didn’t know what Su Hongxing was planning but left to carry out her orders.
Cao Shiyu arrived swiftly, Su Hongxing told her, “Ye Qilan wants you and Mo Qiu to accompany him in bed, go on.”
If having three people wasn’t enough, she didn’t mind finding a few more women for Ye Qilan, and send them off as a group.
Cao Shiyu looked at Ye Qilan skeptically, her eyes filled with confusion.
But Ye Qilan wasn’t letting go of Su Hongxing’s hand and didn’t even glance at her.
Su Hongxing then instructed Liu Qingyin, “Go get me a dagger.”
Liu Qingyin followed the order and went to the kitchen, picked up the dagger but hesitated.
With such a weapon in her hand, what if she accidentally injured Su Hongxing?
While hesitating, she went upstairs, walked into the bedroom, and handed the dagger to Su Hongxing.
Su Hongxing took the dagger and without a word, stabbed towards Ye Qilan’s wrist.
Ye Qilan, being drunk, had slowed reactions and was unable to dodge in time. His wrist was stabbed by Su Hongxing, and blood started gushing out.
The pain brought him back to his senses and he lost his grip on Su Hongxing.
Su Hongxing quickly pulled back her hand, discarded the dagger at Ye Qilan’s feet, and walked away without looking back.
Ye Qilan stood frozen in place, looking at the empty doorway, then at the wound on his arm that was bleeding non-stop.
Mo Qiu and Cao Shiyu seemed to snap out of their daze and ran to Ye Qilan to try and dress his wound.
Ye Qilan watched the two women fussing over him, his mind wandering elsewhere…
Liu Qingyin supported Su Hongxing back into her room. Noticing something was off about Su Hongxing, she asked, “Sister, are you feeling unwell?”
Was it because she was agitated by Ye Qilan, that it affected her unborn child?
Su Hongxing took a deep breath to suppress her discomfort, shook her head, “I’m fine, I will feel better after a while.”
“We can’t go on , sister. Let’s get out of here,” Liu Qingyin suggested to Su Hongxing.
There were too many people in the villa creating too much chaos, if not for the protection of Elder Ye, who knows who would be tempted to make a move on Su Hongxing.
Su Hongxing loved this child so much, only by leaving could they ensure safety.
“Let’s wait a little longer, it won’t be long…” Su Hongxing managed to muster a smile. Indeed, it won’t be long.
Liu Qingyin felt a chill from the strange smile on Su Hongxing’s face.
She always considered herself a scheming woman. But, she thought that Su Hongxing might be more calculating than her.
She guessed that Su Hongxing was planning something, but she hadn’t shared any information with her. Ultimately, Su Hongxing didn’t trust her.
Otherwise, Su Hongxing would have communicated her plans with her.
In the middle of the night, Su Hongxing was once again awoken by Ye Qilan’s disturbance.
Liu Qingyin instantly shielded Su Hongxing behind her, keeping a vigilant eye on the drunken Ye Qilan, “Ye Qilan, what are you trying to do?!”
Ye Qilan stood by the bed, holding a bottle of wine in his hand. His previously bandaged wound was now seeping blood again.
