At four in the afternoon, Qiao Qiao suddenly arrived at Qingmu Garden, much to Su Hongxing’s surprise.
Qiao Qiao looked troubled, as if she wanted to say something but was holding back.
“Su, I’m getting married,” Qiao Qiao muttered.
Surprised by Qiao Qiao’s declaration, Su Hongxing simply stood there for a moment before laughing, “Getting married is a good thing, congratulations. What’s this person like?”
She knew Qiao Qiao had long been nurturing a secret crush, but she didn’t know who the subject of this affection was. Everyone has secrets they’d rather not reveal, and Qiao Qiao was no exception.
Qiao Qiao took a deep breath, “The person I’m marrying is… is Ye Xiandong.”
“Young Master Ye Xiandong?!” Su Hongxing looked at Qiao Qiao in astonishment.
How did she get entangled with Ye Xiandong? It was clear that Ye Xiandong was a man of deep scheming, and marrying him was unlikely to bring happiness to Qiao Qiao.
