In the previous life, when Ye Qilan learned of her nickname, he said the same thing to her.
“What does all this have to do with you? You’re not my grandmother!” Su Hongxing pulled her hand away and glared at Ye Qilan.
“Everything about you belongs to me. Of course, it matters,” Ye Qilan replied calmly.
Her eyes were too affectionate. When she glared at him, she had no intimidating power, but rather seemed to be flirting with him.
Su Hongxing decided not to talk to Ye Qilan. She glanced at the three dishes and one soup on the dinner table and evilly thought to herself, “Ye Qilan is poisonous, could the food he cooked also be poisonous?”
Ye Qilan served Su Hongxing a bowl of soup: “This is the first meal I cooked for you. Try it and see how it tastes.”
Su Hongxing snorted, “I’m afraid you might have drugged it!”.
Ye Qilan looked deeply at Su Hongxing, picked up the soup bowl, scooped up the soup, and brought it to her lips: “Drink. Let me feed you.”
Su Hongxing turned her face away.

Lying through her teeth, Su Hongxing replied, “It tasted awful!”
“Really?” Ye Qilan helped himself to a couple more spoonfuls. He thought it tasted quite nice.
Throughout the meal, he barely ate anything, focusing on watching Su Hongxing’s face.
Su Hongxing wondered what he was looking at—could it be because she was so beautiful he couldn’t take his eyes off her?
After dinner, Ye Qilan insisted that Su Hongxing shouldn’t wash the dishes, so as not to harm her lovely hands.
Snorting, Su Hongxing thought Ye Qilan was merely pretending to be the perfect man. Did he really think he could fool her ? Not a chance!
Stealing a glance at the man bustling about in the kitchen, she had to admit to herself that there was something attractive about a man doing housework. His elegance and nobility, even while doing something as mundane as washing dishes, made it seem like an art.
After finishing the dishes, Yelan sat down next to Su Hongxing, playing with her slender fingers.
Unsure of his intentions, Su Hongxing decided to go with the flow.
After a while, her guard lowered and she focused all her attention on the TV. Suddenly, she felt something slipped onto her finger.
She looked down and, as her face changed, she tried to take off the ring.
Ye Qilan held her wrist, stopping her, “Amou, hear me out first.”
“Alright, talk.” Su Hongxing stared coldly at Ye Qilan.
“I’ve quit smoking and drinking. My cooking isn’t bad, and I can earn money to support the family. Of course, my face is quite handsome. The phrase ‘handsome and wealthy’ fits me quite well, don’t you think?” Ye Qilan gently persuaded her.
Su Hongxing sneered, not saying a word.
“A man like me is what people call the ideal man. You’re lucky to have met me; you should marry me. Don’t you agree?” He ended the conversation like a matter of fact, “Let’s do that! We’ll register our marriage tomorrow!”
