Su Nian smiled as she watched Su Yalan’s self-directed act, reaching out to take the phone that Su Yalan had just hung up: “Well played.”
Su Yalan’s tone shifted from pitiful to fiercely angry: “Su Nian, one day you won’t be laughing anymore!”
Su Nian chuckled without arguing, as she was used to hearing threats and was never intimidated.
She rolled up the car window and drove to the parking lot.
