Su Nian’s face flushed instantly, but Yang Ming turned to speak to Yang Zichen, “Come with me for a moment.”

Seeing Yang Zichen glance at Shen Hanxiu in the ward, Su Nian said, “It’s okay, Brother Yang, you go ahead, I’ll stay here.”

Yang Zichen agreed readily, “Okay.” Then he paused for a second, adding, “I’ll bring her home after she gets a divorce.”
Yang Ming’s eyes opened even wider, “Divorce?! She’s married? You’re waiting for her to divorce? If your mom hears this, she’ll be furious!”
Yang Zichen spoke calmly, “That’s why you shouldn’t tell her for now.”
“You mean if that woman doesn’t divorce, you’re not going to marry anyone else?!”
Yang Zichen was silent, giving a soft “Mm” in agreement; at least for now, he had no intention of pursuing other women, his mind filled only with that one woman.
The usually easy-going Yang Ming stood up from his chair in anger, glaring at Yang Zichen like he couldn’t bear his foolishness, “Are you really ‘Mm’? A fine young man like you and you want to be someone else’s homewrecker!”
“I’m waiting for her to get divorced, not helping her divorce.”

Yang Zichen didn’t speak, implying consent.
Yang Ming walked around him, trying to calm the rage in his heart before asking, “The woman you’re talking about… is it Su Nian?”

“Your mom set up a blind date for you this weekend. You should still show up.”

But Shen Hanxiu held onto her hand without letting go, the tender skin in his palm bringing to his mind images of them in the car, he smiled and asked, “What were you just thinking about?”
