“Is he the father of the child?”
Su Nian turned to glance outside the door, confirming that Shen Hanxiu wouldn’t hear her, before nodding.

“But I haven’t told him yet.”
“Was the job transfer his idea? Are you working in his company now?” Liang Yizhou was familiar with someone of Shen Hanxiu’s stature.
“Um… I’m afraid he came for the child.”
Liang Yizhou didn’t ask any further, simply standing behind Su Nian, being her support: “Just let me know if you need anything, and tell me if anything happens.”
Su Nian fell silent for a while, then nodded.
Liang Yizhou’s kindness always made her feel indebted; he had confessed to her when Zhenzhen was just born, and Su Nian also took the opportunity to clarify things with him, rejecting him. At that time, she thought he would leave, but afterwards, he looked after her and the two children as if nothing had happened, tirelessly and without complaint. Without him during that time, it would have been very difficult to raise the two children.
After that occasion, he never spoke such words to Su Nian again, interacting with her as if they were family.
“Have you decided to stay here?”
Su Nian thought for a moment and nodded: “I’ve just settled into my job, and I don’t want to change jobs again.”
Liang Yizhou smiled and said, “That’s good, I’ll come work over here as well, it feels a bit unusual not having those two kids making noise.”
“Yizhou, there’s no need to go through the trouble, you have your own job. If you miss the kids, I can bring them over to see you during holidays.”

Su Zhen ran over, hobbling, as children are always afraid of parting, with tears in her eyes she asked, “Is Uncle Liang leaving?”
“Uncle Liang is not leaving. From now on, Uncle Liang will be working over here.”
“Yeah, and I’ll come over to make dinner for you guys tomorrow, just for my dear niece.”
Hearing that he wasn’t leaving, Su Zhen cheered up, kissed his face, then waved: “Goodbye, Uncle Liang.”
Su Nian followed him out, sending Liang Yizhou off to the car, and watching as the two reluctantly said their farewells, Shen Han stood aside, contemplating.
Even after the car had driven off, Su Nian was still standing at the roadside.
Su Nian turned to look at Shen Han, walking straight past him: “Zhenzhen, go take a bath and sleep.”
“Su Bao hasn’t had a bath yet.”
The voices of the mother and daughter gradually faded inside the house, and Shen Han turned to follow them in.
That man was of no concern to him at all – if Su Nian truly liked him, they wouldn’t still be unmarried after four years. Therefore, in his eyes, Liang Yizhou posed no threat.
However, Su Nian was the woman he was set on, and other men shouldn’t even think about courting her!
