Chapter 48: Chapter 48 She Went on a Date
The rain was lighter at noon, but it didn’t stop.
Song Yang originally said he would drive her to Ziyuan for a meal, but Su Nian knew Ziyuan was expensive and couldn’t bear to let him waste money on her. So, she said, “It’s raining outside; let’s not go. Eating at the restaurant is just as good. I actually quite like their food.”
“If you like it, there will be plenty of opportunities to eat there in the future. If Ziyuan is too far, then we can go somewhere nearby. The place up there also has a good taste.”
The restaurant was not far from the company, so they didn’t drive. Su Nian hadn’t planned on leaving the office and didn’t bring an umbrella, so Song Yang went to his car to get one.
Sharing an umbrella with a strange man was a first for Su Nian, and it brought no thrill, only awkwardness.

The city was so big, with so many restaurants. To check each one by one was obviously unrealistic.
After pondering for a while, the Maybach smoothly merged into the flow of traffic on the main road.
A few minutes later, it stopped in front of a kindergarten.
Su Zhen and Su Bao sat face to face at a small table, eating. Su Zhen, while eating, would stretch her spoon into Su Bao’s bowl to scoop up the dishes she liked, and Su Bao, as if accustomed to her antics, simply focused on his meal.
After asking Su Zhen a few questions, Shen Hanxiu got straight to the point: “Zhenzhen, call your mom and ask her where she is.”
Without questioning why, Su Zhen said to Su Bao, “Su Bao, I need the phone.”
Su Bao glanced at Shen Han and continued to eat nonchalantly. He could ignore Shen Han, but not Su Zhen. She immediately started fussing: “Wuu~ Teacher, Su Bao is bullying me~”
Su Bao gave in immediately: “It’s in the backpack, go get it yourself.”
Su Zhen cheerfully ran over, dialed Su Nian’s number, and Shen Han took the opportunity to put the call on speakerphone.
