The living room’s main light was off; only four small lamps in the corners were on, casting a dim light. Shen Hanxiu stared intently at her face without blinking.
Her struggling efforts were futile but caused him to frown in displeasure.

His scent filled her nostrils, her feigned composure crumbled instantly, leaving only her heart racing in disarray.
Not getting a response to his call, instead, he saw her spacing out beneath him.
Her gaze downcast, her face blushed, her hands lightly resting on his chest; without any coquettish gestures, he still felt that everything about her was seducing him to lose his sanity.
The cool lips then crushed down, claiming her warmth.
The kiss, long and entangling.

Watching her fleeing figure, Shen Hanxiu’s lips curled, rubbing his thumb over his lower lip, which looked exceptionally tempting in the dim night.
Su Nian leaned against the door, slumping to the ground with her back against it, still feeling the force of his lips and breath on hers.
Her heart still racing, her rapid breathing echoed clearly in the silent room.
