Turning her head to look, the man with a wicked smile on his face was indeed him.
Su Nian pushed him away, steadied her inner turmoil, and answered back, “Whether I come back or not, what’s it to President Tang?”
Tang Shaosheng smirked, ignoring the passers-by, and suddenly approached Su Nian again, forcibly pinning her against the cold wall behind her.
The pain from her back made Su Nian frown, as he lifted her chin looking into her angry eyes, his voice leisurely continued, “Long time no see, your face has gotten prettier.”
Su Nian turned her face away. This man, unlike Shen Hanxiu who would somewhat care for her feelings and control his strength, Tang Shaosheng was utterly ruthless.
Staring at the people coming and going around, Su Nian glared at Tang Shaosheng and growled, “Tang Shaosheng, what’s gotten into you?”
His grip remained as tight, even forcefully squeezing her against the wall with no way out, “Haven’t seen you for so long, missed you a lot, what? Came back for a second chance?”
“Don’t bully my mom!”
Before Su Nian could reply, a little boy’s voice sounded.
Feeling an insignificant force tugging at his pants, Tang Shaosheng then looked down.
Releasing Su Nian, he looked down at Su Bao, feigned ignorance and asked, “Who’s your mom?”
Su Bao pushed him, quickly pulled Su Nian over, his actions providing an answer,
He looked at Su Nian and smirked meaningfully, “Whose son?”
“Mom, let’s go.” Without waiting for an answer, they turned and left.
Tang Shaosheng watched the mother and son leaving, a smirk on his face, seemingly finding something amusing in this…
When Su Nian and Su Bao returned to the pavilion, there was no one there, instead, a voice coming from a microphone in the garden was heard.
Walking into the garden, it seemed the birthday celebration had officially begun, a young and beautiful actress hosting on stage, the place buzzing with people.
“Mom, I’m here!” Just as Su Nian was clueless, Su Zhen’s voice sounded not far away.
In the guest area on one side of the garden, Shen Hanxiu was holding Su Zhen, sitting on a chair.
