Yuran took a deep breath, "Godmother, I’m listening. Seventh Brother is misunderstanding, I don’t have a boyfriend."
"Ah? You don’t?" Godmother Bo sounded somewhat disappointed, "Baby, your godmother is very open-minded. If you had a boyfriend, I wouldn’t stand in the way of your love."
"I really don’t, godmother," Yuran replied with a mix of laughter and tears, "I’ll explain it to you when I come back tonight, okay?"
She coaxed Godmother Bo over the phone, and Godmother Bo didn’t dwell on it, saying, "Alright then, your godfather is back too. Don’t be scared of him, and if you don’t want to sit with him at dinner time, we two can eat by ourselves on the side, okay?"
Warmth filled Yuran’s heart. Since she had taken over the original owner of the body, all the warmth she lacked was replenished by Godmother Bo. She was very grateful and willing to do so.
"Baby, do you want me to send a driver to pick you up this afternoon?"

After hanging up the phone, Yuran remained confused about this whole dating ruse for quite a while before reluctantly heading to the academic building, still unable to figure out the motivation behind Bo Yan’s accusation.

General Bo once again confirmed that his earlier scrutiny of his son was justified, but he couldn’t be frank in front of Godmother Bo, so he asked, "What happened now?"
Godmother Bo, "Hmph, what else? Our baby isn’t dating anyone, he’s just spouting nonsense."

Upon hearing his tone, Xie Cheng knew something was off. Who had irritated him? But he only grumbled internally and quickly got to the point, "Bo Yan, I just got a call from RSM, Xuan Ze says using Yuran is too risky."
Bo Yan’s eyebrows knitted tightly together, all sleepiness gone as he sat up, "Reason!"
"Yuran came clean to him about her past scandals, and asked him if he needs to cut losses in time."
A cold smile played on Bo Yan’s lips, "Cut losses in time? What is Xuan Ze trying to say?"
"He wants to ask you, how determined you are to star in this drama and how much it has to do with Yuran," Xie Cheng said, his head throbbing at the question.
Without hesitation, Bo Yan said, "Replacing Yuran is fine, they can replace me as well."
Xie Cheng: "..." So much for negotiations.
Bo Yan, "Just relay exactly that. No contract has been signed, any verbal agreement can be disregarded."
