Dave slowly opened his eyes to the bright rays of the early morning sun passing through the little part of the window that they forgot to cover with the curtain.
For the first time in the past three days now, he felt like his mind had actually rested with his body and that was because he decided to turn on the feature that allowed him to have control over his dream before sleeping.
He picked up his phone from his usual spot and pressed the power button for the screen to turn on and for him to see that the time was 6:47 AM.
After checking the time, he dropped his phone back on the cupboard before turning to face Emma who slowly opened her eyes at that exact moment.
"Hey." He said with a smile on his face.
"Hope you slept well?"
"Yeah." She said before raising both of her hands to stretch herself. "What about you?"
"I've never slept better." He said.
"Aren't you going for your morning run?" She asked.
"I will, but since none of us is going to work today, why don't we just sleep in longer." He said before wrapping his arms around her and pulling her closer.
After spending about thirty minutes sleeping in, the goalkeeper made his way downstairs, completed his first daily quest, and dropped the container on the floor as usual before making his way out of the house to complete his daily run quest.
"I'll just do two kilometers today." He muttered before taking off.
It didn't take him long to get there and without even checking the quest completed message, he turned around and started heading back.

He stopped in front of the door to read the message before opening the door to find Emma coming down the stairs with a piece of paper attached to a rectangular cardboard and a pen in her hand.
"Right on time." She said before quickly making her way to him.
"For what?" Dave asked with a confused expression on his face.
"We don't have to go to work today but we have other things we have to do so I'm creating schedules for them to make sure nothing falls out of place." She said, "You returned from your morning run right on time." She added before tickling the box beside the morning run on her schedule note.
"What other things did you write down there because I don't remember making big plans for today?"
"We have to go see your dad in the hospital, you promised to take me out for lunch and then we'll have to go to that dinner Ferran invited you to." She replied.
"Oh, I did make big plans for today." The goalkeeper said.
"Yeah, you should hit the gym for your gym session while I get something ready for breakfast." She said before making her way to the kitchen.
After completing his two-hour daily gym session, he returned to the house to have his breakfast with Emma and after that, the two made their way upstairs to get ready to head out by noon.
After about forty minutes of getting ready, they could be seen making their way down the staircase.
Dave was putting on a blue T-shirt to go with his matching blue shorts and blue canvas while Emma was putting on a white short-sleeved shirt to go with her black jeans trousers, black boots, and the black handbag that was hanging over her shoulder.
Dave was a bit slow with his steps as Emma had already gotten to the car while he was still walking toward the area and that was because he was on his phone.
"Are you driving or…."
Before she could finish saying what she wanted to say, Dave threw the bunch of keys to her and she didn't have any problem catching it.
During the drive to the hospital, nothing was said between the two as Dave seemed to be focused on whatever he was doing with his phone.
He was going through the league tables in all of the leagues in Europe and right now, he had just entered Bilbeth Premier League's table.
Supreme United were still leading and were still three points clear of Dynamo FC as both teams had won their matches last night and this time Dynamo FC had gotten a convincing win by beating Zilo FC four goals to nothing while Supreme United only beat Lave City with one goal.
'Supreme United are champions once again.' He said subconsciously.
It was certain, now that they had won their match against Lave City, they had the higher goal difference so even if they lost their last match of the season, they would still be the league winners unless Dynamo FC finds a way to score eight goals against Spree City without conceding any goals.
After checking out the other teams above them in the table, his gaze had fallen on his team now.
Unique FC were currently in eighth place, they had forty-nine points now with sixty goals scored and forty-seven goals conceded which meant that they had thirteen goals difference meanwhile Lesica United had forty-six points with Sixty seven goals scored and forty-three goals conceded which meant that they had twenty-four goals difference and winning their match tonight would mean that Unique FC would have to play their last match of the season against them like it was a final, that is if they really want to qualify for the UEFA conference league.
"It's going to be intense." He muttered.
"What?" Emma asked, turning her gaze to him before turning it back to the road.
"If Lesica United wins their match against Razid FC then it's going to be a big clash against them on Tuesday, a must-win match for us and for them it's going to be a must-draw or a must-win." He said.
"Yeah, and those kinds of matches come with a lot of pressure," Emma said.
"I know, although I've never been in any situation like that before," Dave said.
"It's going to be okay," Emma said. "Lesica United are going to play their match tonight and nobody knows if they are going to win or lose and even if they win, I know and I believe you guys can beat them."
"They destroyed us four goals to nothing in their home earlier this season," Dave said.
"That team and this current team is very different, yes it's still the same players with no one leaving and just one new addition but something's changed and that's you guys are on a six games unbeaten run." She said, "Mateo's way better now, last night's match confirms it but that's not even the best part."
"What is the best part?" Dave asked.
"You guys had ordinary Dave then but right now, Unique FC has ball-magnet Dave and he is going to turn up like he has been doing in this unbeaten run." She said with an enthusiastic voice.
