With 12:32 PM showing on the clock, Dave got ready to start heading to the stadium, they were supposed to be there before 1:00 PM so he had to start heading there now.
"Here," Emma said before handing him his bag in front of the door. "Everything you're going to need is inside."
"Yeah, but you know you don't have to say that every time," Dave said after taking the bag from her.
"I say it so that you wouldn't have to ask to confirm." She said.
"Okay," Dave said before slowly opening the door and stepping outside. "I'll see you later then."
"Yeah, I'll see you later, bye." She said before closing the door.
The goalkeeper arrived at the stadium at exactly 12:41 PM and without wasting time, he quickly made his way inside the building.
After going through a few staff who wanted to ask him a few questions, he made his way to the pitch where some of his teammates were already warming up.
On the pitch currently were Ferran, Alexander the junior squad goalkeeper, Merino, Fred, Luis Roberto, Pirlo, and Frankie.
"Hey, Dave," Ferran said, walking closer to the goalkeeper as he entered the pitch.
Dave didn't bother turning his gaze to him until the midfielder got close enough to him and called his name again.
"Huh?" Dave said before turning his gaze to the midfielder.
"How're you doing?" He asked.
"We'll, I'm fine thanks for asking," Dave said before continuing his walk forward.
"Hey, wait," Ferran said before closing up on him again. "What is going on with you?"
"What do you mean?" Dave said, slowly turning his gaze to him. "Since yesterday you've been acting like we're fighting, did I do anything to you?"
"We'll, not exactly but you should be more transparent in doing the things you do or a lot of people will start treating you the way I am doing now and by people, I'm referring to our teammates and that won't do our team any good." The goalkeeper said before continuing his walk further down while Ferran watched him with a perplexed look on his face but deep down, he knew what he was talking about.
"So how's Mateo doing?" Roland asked before firing a shot towards Dave's goalpost from about twenty-five yards out.
The ball was sent flying toward the bottom left corner but it wasn't stretched that farther away from the goalkeeper so it wasn't really that hard for the goalkeeper to save.
"I mean I spoke with him last night and he sounded really energetic, I just want to know if you spoke with him this morning and how he's doing," Roland said.
"Yeah, we spoke this morning," Dave said before throwing the ball to him. "And he's fine, he may possibly show up here today but I hope he listens to me and stays home."
"Yeah, he should rest properly for next season, we'll try our best to win this one without him," Roland said. "I wonder when our opponents are going to get here."
"Well, you don't have to wonder anymore," Dave said with his gaze on the tunnel area and when Roland turned his gaze to the area, he could see that Lesica United players had arrived and were making their way to the pitch now.
Almost all of the other Lesica United players seemed invisible to the Unique FC players on the pitch as they all had their eyes on one man.
A dark-skinned man almost the same height as Ferran who was a little shorter than Dave, he had a low cut, and his face was all smiles as he made his way onto the pitch.
With the pre-match warm-up over, the players were back in the locker room now to dress up for the match.
They were putting on their signature home jersey which was the orange jersey with black polka-dots while Dave was putting on a lemon-green kit as the goalkeeper's kit.
"Alright boys, I know we can do this, let's go out there and show them what we can do," Norman said to conclude his motivational speech.
The players were all lined up in the tunnel holding the hands of different children mascots while waiting for the signal to start making their way to the pitch.
Lesica United players were putting on their away jersey which was a black shirt with three curvy blue stripes on the side and black shorts, their goalkeeper was putting on a red shirt to go with black shorts.
It didn't take long before they were given the signal to start marching forward into the pitch.
"Welcome to our viewers from all around, there are about five other matches going on at the moment but for some reason, this one catches my interest the most," Jim said. "It's Jim Waterson again and I am here with my regular Co commentator, Mr. Steve Jefferson."
"It's nice to be here again to offer my opinion on this match, I think we're in for a ride on this match," Steve said.
"I absolutely agree, Steve," Jim said.
The fans were cheering as the players lined up in front of the pitch while Unique FC's anthem resounded through the speakers in the area.
Mateo was sitting on his bed with his gaze on his television screen and a bright smile on his face.
"Go guys, you can do it." He muttered.
He brought out his phone and opened the match scores on Google.
Google always tried to predict the outcome of matches by percentages on their scoreboard page and looking at his phone, it looked like Lesica United had a higher chance of winning according to google.
The bar showed a sixty percent winning chance for the away side, thirty percent for the away side, and an eight percent chance of the match ending in a draw.
"We'll see google, we'll see." The winger said before turning his gaze back to the television.
The sides had been choosing as the players made their way to their sides.
Fredinho was standing over the ball now waiting for the referee's whistle to kickstart the match.
"I hope we can win this one," Dave muttered.

"What we are about to witness here is a battle for a special spot, Unique FC have pulled themselves through and have finally made it to this point, the only thing that stands in their way now is beating Lesica United, they must beat Lesica United because a draw or loss will mean that they have failed to secure a spot in UEFA conference league next season." Jim articulated.
"And it is going to be tougher than them now that Mateo Smith is out injured, what do you guys think? Can Unique FC do it or will they be subdued by Lesica United?"
