The boys in blue were shocked after witnessing that unstoppable smash from Dave.
"I thought he didn't know how to kick the ball and then he goes ahead and does this." He said before picking up the ball.
"Don't be silly Luis, there's no way anybody would bring someone who doesn't know how to kick the ball to help them win a tournament final." The blonde one said. "We can't lose this game."
"Right," Luis said with a nod before he threw the ball up and joggled it for a while before he sent it to his blonde teammate, Jordi.
Jordi wasn't planning to do anything fancy with the ball and just sent it flying toward the other side with a single touch, it wasn't a powerful kick, it was just a far lob.
"Take that." He said with a grin on his face.
"Oh, no, not that." Diego panicked.
Dave didn't say anything but he knew exactly what to do, he quickly zoomed toward the ball, and just as it was about to hit the floor the second time, he sent it back to Diego with an overhead kick.
The two were still far away from the net and Diego knew exactly how to use that to his advantage.
The youngster waited for the ball to get closer before he sent it to their side with a single touch smack but he had placed it close to the net far away from them.
"No!" Luis yelled as he quickly rushed to the area and dived toward the ball which had already hit the floor once.
The only way he was going to be able to get to the ball and send it back before it hit the floor the second time was with his head but the ball had already gone too low so his effort ended up hitting the net.
"Two points to team Diego and Ferran, zero points to team lightning bolts."
"Nice job, Diego," Dave said before giving him a high five.
"It wouldn't have been possible without you," Diego said.
"Who the heck is that guy, he's so fast."
"Yeah, I haven't seen someone that fast in this tournament before. Where did that boy bring him from and are we sure he's not past twenty years?"
"The fact that he's using a cap to hide his face means there's something suspicious about him."
The game continued with Luis attempting a smash but it ended up backfiring as Dave returned it with twice as much power.
"Three points to zero."
"I never thought I would see team lightning bolts getting overpowered ."
'This isn't as hard as I expected it to be.'
'Yeah but the maximum age requirement is twenty-one which means it's fair.
Team lightning bolts had been able to win a point after Diego had failed to control a pass from Dave and the ball had dropped to the floor.
"I'm sorry, Dave." He said before slowly bringing his head down.
"It's okay," Dave said before slowly putting his hand on his head. "We're still going to win, trust me."
"That was a silly mistake but lightning bolts have one pulled back now."
'Let's end this, that lucky point is going to be the only thing you guys are going to celebrate in this game.'

The game just got more intense from this point onwards as the goalkeeper began to return all their balls with full intensity.
Diego wasn't even doing much from this point onwards but Dave made sure to give the easy chances to him just to make sure he was part of the game and didn't feel left out.
With each hit, the crowd were letting out loud gasps with shocked expressions on their faces.
"At this point, the game is pretty much over, team Diego and Ferran ten, team lightning bolts one."
"Who the heck is that guy? I can't even keep up." Luis said, breathing heavily. All his runs to prevent Dave's smashes had been in vain.
"That person has received a lot of training, he's no ordinary person," Jordi said. "They just need one point to win, do we even have a chance for a comeback?"
"Not exactly but we have to try," Luis said before he threw up the ball and quickly sent it over to the other side with a smack.
Dave quickly followed the ball and waited for it to bounce on the floor before he caught hold of it with his right foot and began to joggle it as he walked back toward Diego.
He moved closer with the ball and feigned shooting before he quickly sent it to Diego who quickly sent it to the other side with a far lob.
Both of their opponents were too tired to chase the ball that far so all they had to do was watch as the ball hit the ball twice to solidify team Diego and Ferran's win.
"They've done it! Who would have thought that they could do it but it turned out to be a walk in the park for them, they are the champions."
"Yes, we did it!" Diego yelled before he jumped up to hug the goalkeeper and in the process, he knocked down his cap.
"Hey, I know that guy."
"Yeah, that's Unique FC's goalkeeper!" A man yelled to stir up a commotion in the area.
"You mean the one that was able to keep Manchester United at bay?"
"That explains everything, the guy's a professional footballer!"
"It all makes sense now," Luis said.
"You knew you couldn't win with Ferran so you had to get a footballer to help you," Jordi said.
"The guy must be over twenty years of age, they should be disqualified."
And just like that, chants of disqualification began in the room and because the lightning bolts had more supporters there, it was louder than ever.
Diego looked around the area with a confused expression on his face before turning his gaze to Dave.
"What's going on, Dave?"
"You're about to get disqualified, that's what's going on," Luis said.
"Hey, everyone, calm down, the officials are currently looking into the rules of the game, they can't make any decision without making sure it's the right thing." The man with the mic said.
"What are they looking into the rules for? This should be against the rules."
"Everyone calm down!" A female voice yelled as her voice resounded through the speakers and that was all that was needed to get everyone to shut up.
'She can also speak English.'
"We just finished going through the rules and it turns out there's no rule against professional football players participating in the competition although there should be one but for now there isn't." She explained.
"What about his age, there's no way he's not over twenty years old?!"
"I think you all should check that for yourself, Dave Richards is a football player from Bilbeth, he plays for Unique FC in the Bilbeth Premier League and is currently twenty years old, that makes their win valid, no disqualification." She asserted. "Team Diego and Ferran are officially the champions of this year's tennis ball tournament."
As soon as those words left her mouth, the few people in the room who were supporting the team broke into cheers of joy.
"We did it, Dave, we did it!" Diego said as tears began to roll down his cheeks and before he knew it, he pushed the goalkeeper down to the floor.
"Yeah, it all turned out well at last."
