The goalkeeper had stopped just before taking a turn into another part of the street, now that he had completed the quest, he didn't need to run down that street.
He had his hands on his knees while panting softly and after staying like that for a while, he slowly stood up straight and brought his watch to his gaze to check the time.
'7:10 AM, twenty minutes earlier.' He said subconsciously.
He looked around at the area for a while to see that there were only a few people walking around.
'I guess I should start heading back now.'
The goalkeeper returned to his room to find his roommate wide awake on his bed with his phone in his hands.
"Hey, where did you go?" The winger asked as soon as he entered the room, he didn't even take his gaze off his phone.
"I went for a little jog outside." The goalkeeper said as he slowly made his way to his bed and sat down on it.
"Today's the final day." The goalkeeper said.
"Yeah, I'm probably going to start on the bench," Mateo said.
"Of course, you're going to start on the bench you played the whole ninety minutes against Wolfsburg," Dave said.
"Yeah, I just hope we win or draw at least."
"I think I'll be happy with any result." The goalkeeper said.
"As long as we don't concede more than two goals and give it our all, I'll be satisfied."
The match was set to kick off by 8:00 PM and right now that time had drawn really close.
The players were on the pitch now, Real Sociedad were putting on their home jersey while Unique FC were putting on their second away jersey, the lemon green one with stripes being shared halfway by black-orange colors.
A Real Sociedad player was the one standing over the ball and as soon as the time hit 8:00 PM, the referee blew his whistle to signal the start of the match.
"There's the whistle and we are on the way," Jim said.
The game was a pretty tough one but not exactly, Real Sociedad outclassed the Bilbeth Premier League side in every department, their midfield was more fluid, and their defense was really hard to get through.
Unique FC's defense on the other hand appeared to be quite mediocre in the match.
Real Sociedad were getting past them quite easily during the first twenty minutes of the game but that didn't mean that scoring was also easy for them, they missed a lot of clear chances and Dave was there to take care of the deadly ones that were on target.
After realizing how his defense was suffering, Norman had to give the instructions to reinforce it and after pulling up two defensive midfielders to help out in defense, Real Sociedad started to find it a little difficult to get past them, they still had the option of shooting from afar but far shots were Dave's favorite kind of shots and he was there to stop them all.
Unique FC lacked composure and couldn't do anything for thirty minutes straight, they couldn't even get a shot on target but once the clock hit the thirty first minute, they slowly began to regain their composure.
They played really well for the last fifteen minutes of the match despite not having players like Mateo, Ferran, and Minino on the pitch, they managed to test the goalkeeper thrice and had almost scored in those situations but the Real Sociedad players were really quick to take care of the situations and prevent Unique FC from taking the advantage in the match.
The first half came to a goalless end but the commentators had a feeling that something more interesting was coming up in the second half.
Jonas was replaced by Roland before the second half kicked off and that was where things began to change.
Unique FC began to control the match and Real Sociedad began to look like the weaker side.
Roland was running riot on the left wing with every opportunity he got and the Real Sociedad couldn't get hold of him, he was just too fast for them to keep up with.
The left-back used his speed to create a scoring opportunity for Henry, the attacking midfielder took the shot neatly from the edge of the box and sent it flying toward the bottom right side of the goalpost.
The goalkeeper dived toward it but he wasn't able to stop it as the ball ended up hitting the post before somehow squeezing itself into the goalpost.
The players and the supporting fans celebrated the goal as Jim screamed and said what he had to say but five minutes later, Real Sociedad struck back.
It was a terrible mistake from Dave to try and hit out the ball sent into the box from the corner kick spot.
The striker got his head on the ball and re-directed it, Dave ended up colliding with the player as the ball flew into the goalpost but there were no injuries sustained as he used his hand to shield his head from hitting the striker's head instead of the punch he had prepared earlier.
The match continued with both teams trying their best to get the winning goal but it finally came to an end on leveled terms.
"That marks the end of our coverage for today, we'll see you all when the season kicks off," Jim said.
Roland was announced as the man of the match and it was well deserved given the amount of effort in the second half, Mateo who had joined the game in the seventieth minute wasn't even able to do anything to give his team the win, he had scored in every match in this pre-season tour except for this one and the one against Dynamo, it was better to say that he scored in every match he started in.

The players spent some time in the locker room and listened to what Norman had to tell them regarding the match and after that, they began to make their way back to the hotel.
It took them an hour plus to get there as always and after getting there, the players made their way straight to their rooms.
"It's finally over." The goalkeeper said before crashing down on his bed.
"Yeah," Mateo said before crashing down on his bed.
"I think we had a pretty good run."
"Yeah, four wins, three draws, and two losses," Mateo said. "If we start the season , it won't be the best start but it's a good start, grabbing fifteen points in nine matches is okay."
"Yeah," Dave replied. "I can't wait for the season to start."

Dave's face lit up in amazement as he looked at all the rewards he had been granted for completing the quest.
