So, this morning, the two of them got into the BMW, ready to head to the company.
Lin Yi had on light makeup, looking even more glamorous, and with Li Chen’s daily attentions, she naturally became more and more enchanting.

When the active perfumers saw Li Chen enter, several of the men immediately shot him winks and silly faces.

"Mr. Cheen, you’re here," Wang Lei said with a slight smile, not teasing Li Chen, as his nature was very serious, and he also recognized Li Chen’s extraordinary talent in perfume formula creation.
Wang Qianqian showed a hint of delighted surprise in her eyes at Li Chen’s arrival. It seemed as though not seeing him for a short while was as long as centuries.
"Mr. Cheen, this time we have several formulas that need your touch again," Wang Lei said with a smile, "We’ve recently developed a new perfume for L’Oreal Paris, but we’re unable to decipher the formula. Could you take a look..."
"No problem," Li Chen said with a grand gesture, immediately agreeing, for he hadn’t truly done much since taking on the title.
Taking advantage when no one else was paying attention, Li Chen gave Wang Qianqian a teasing glance, and her face flushed red, but her heart blossomed with joy.
Following that, everyone watched expectantly as Li Chen started blending the perfumes, although this time there was a bit of a challenge due to a missing scent.
However, the perfumers were quick to respond, and after hearing Li Chen’s description, they found a large selection of similar scents. Li Chen sniffed them one by one, eventually selecting the most crucial scent.
Then, with hands as if weaving a dream, an identical bottle of perfume appeared!
The perfumers recording the process were thrilled, and they began to clap.
"Alright, there’s nothing left for me to do, right?" Li Chen chuckled.
Wang Lei gave a wry smile, "Your half-hour’s work is equivalent to our three month’s labor."
"It’s fine, just keep up the good work, I’m counting on you," Li Chen patted Wang Lei on the shoulder, then walked out of the Fragrance Laboratory, calling out for Wang Qianqian to follow.
"Brother Cheen, I haven’t seen you these days," Wang Qianqian said with joy, yet there was also a hint of sadness.
"Qianqian, Brother Cheen really was tied up these past few days. You mustn’t be mad, or else I’ll stop paying attention to you," he teased.
Wang Qianqian quickly shook her head, "I’m not mad."
"Haha, just fooling with you. How could I ever ignore my Qianqian?" Li Chen said, breath warm against her ear, "Don’t worry, you’re mine and can’t escape. Let me know when your parents aren’t home some day."
At Li Chen’s words, Wang Qianqian’s face turned beet red, recalling the events of that night.
And as she thought about that scene, Wang Qianqian felt extremely embarrassed.
Li Chen smiled faintly, "Qianqian, work hard. Wang Lei will teach you."
"Okay," Wang Qianqian nodded vigorously.
After wandering the company with nothing much to do - his own lab work was now being handled by Alice, leaving Li Chen with idle time on his hands.
He had meant to visit his beautiful wife in her office, but Lin Yi had shooed him out; how could she work with Li Chen around?

He left the company and walked onto the street. It was around ten in the morning, and the streets weren’t very crowded. But up ahead, Li Chen noticed a group of people gathered together.
Such a scene usually meant something was happening, and how could Li Chen be absent from it?
He cleverly squeezed into the crowd, and someone standing was inexplicably pushed back but failed to identify who pushed them.

It was someone he knew.
Indeed, it was Yang Xin’s mother, Ning Wan, in the middle!
Surrounding Ning Wan was a man wearing a uniform labeled "Shangxiu Styling," a tall figure with several others similarly dressed next to him, all seemingly from the same shop.
Li Chen looked up to find the Shangxiu Styling shop right in front of him, a beauty and hair salon.
"Hey, this lady’s about to be scammed out of her money," someone said next to Li Chen and shook their head, preparing to leave.
