At this remark, Ning Wan’s eyes brightened and she laughed, "That’s good, come on, Cheencheen, come in. In a bit, Auntie will cook some dishes for you. I feel like it’s been a long time since you last visited our home. Go inside and have a good chat with Xinxin."
Li Chen was enthusiastically pulled into the house by Ning Wan, and then practically pushed and shoved toward Yang Xin’s room.
"Cheencheen, I’m going to cook now. You and Xinxin have fun, I won’t disturb you," Ning Wan said cheerfully as she entered the kitchen, feeling that Li Chen would surely be her son-in-law in the future. Yang Xin paused, puzzled by the scent. She sniffed too but couldn’t detect it. Normally, she only used lightly scented perfumes, and there wasn’t much of an aroma in the air.
"What smells good?" queried Yang Xin.
Li Chen blinked, then leaned closer to Yang Xin, "That, of course, is—"

"Yeah, it smells so good!" Li Chen sniffed her intensely, a look of bliss on his face.
"You flatterer," laughed Yang Xin.
"Let me smell," Li Chen continued.
Yang Xin quickly interrupted Li Chen, her face blushing as she whispered, "My mom’s still outside."
Li Chen giggled, "I was literally sent in by your mom, following her wishes, you know."
Yang Xin’s face reddened again. What kind of logic was that? But she knew Ning Wan’s intentions and quickly changed the subject, "So, what brings you to my place today?"
"It’s actually quite a coincidence," Li Chen began as he proceeded to tell her about the incident that morning involving Ning Wan.
When Yang Xin heard this, she couldn’t help but frown and said, "No way, how can there be such a store? It’s like robbery. We definitely need to call the police."
Seeing that Yang Xin was really about to grab her phone to dial 110, Li Chen chuckled, "I’ve already contacted the police there; they should handle it."
"Okay, Xinxin." Li Chen chuckled and hugged Yang Xin from behind, "Have you missed me these days?"
"I haven’t." Yang Xin said like a coy woman, a smile hanging on her face, her hands equally clutching Li Chen’s hands.
"Really haven’t?" Li Chen moved closer to Yang Xin’s cheek.
"You’re just remembering me now, why should I have thought of you?" Yang Xin said. Honestly, she had missed him, but Li Chen was always in North America, busy with Ghost King matters, forgetting all about here.
"Oh really, you haven’t missed me? Then I might have to punish you." Saying this, Li Chen leaned in to kiss Yang Xin.
Li Chen had the courage, but Yang Xin dared not, what a joke, Ning Wan was outside, it couldn’t be at this time!

Suddenly, Yang Xin’s face flushed red, the reason being that what Li Chen had in his hands was her underwear and it was the kind she had just changed.
Li Chen looked at the light blue pattern on the fabric, enjoying the smooth and comfortable touch, and there was also a faint pungent smell on it.
