Lin Yi spent the day with Wang Qianqian, not returning from work until the evening.
"Didn’t you two go out?" Seeing Li Chen and Wang Qianqian still at home, Lin Yi couldn’t help but ask curiously.
"We did go out for a walk during the day, then we came back," Li Chen said with a smile.
"Then I’m going to take a shower." Hearing this, Lin Yi nodded; she had already come to accept Wang Qianqian’s arrival.
In her view, since she had chosen to accept it, there was no point in dwelling on it any longer. Plus, to continue doing so would make her seem petty. Besides, Wang Qianqian seemed to be ill now, and Lin Yi didn’t feel it was right to say too much.
"I’m going to grab something; Qianqian, you watch TV for a bit," Li Chen said.
"Okay," Wang Qianqian nodded.
Li Chen accompanied Lin Yi upstairs, and before she could react, he had already pulled her into the room.

"Today I found someone to treat Qianqian’s illness," Li Chen started.

Li Chen nodded, without saying anything more.
"You’ve had a hard time recently," Li Chen whispered.
"It’s not a big deal; the one who’s had it tough is you," Lin Yi smiled, hugged Li Chen of her own accord, "Take good care of her, make sure nothing else happens to her."
"Yeah!" Li Chen nodded.
The next day, Li Chen didn’t go to work, instead choosing to stroll the streets with Wang Qianqian.
Just like an ordinary couple you’d see on the street, handsome and pretty; many onlookers sent envious glances their way.
What they didn’t know was the normal looking couple was facing a difficult situation.
"Brother Cheen, do you remember the first time we met?" Wang Qianqian asked Li Chen.
"I remember, of course I remember," Li Chen said with a smile, "You were fishing at the time, right? And then you were bullied by an old man nearby."
"Yeah, yeah," Wang Qianqian nodded vigorously, "I was lucky you were there, Brother Cheen. Otherwise, I don’t know what I would have done."
Hearing this, Li Chen couldn’t help but laugh.
Wang Qianqian was a kind girl, even the kindest among many girls he had met in Linchuan since his return, and she was the most innocent of them all.

After helping the groaning person on the ground up and watching them leave, Wang Qianqian turned to Li Chen and asked, "Brother Cheen, am I going to die?"
