Wan Quan had gone to the Ministry of Defense, Xu Ji and Nannan were both at school, leaving only Han Shouzhen and the visiting Lin Xiaoguai at home.
"Do you really want to manage that farm?" While they were cleaning up the kitchen together, Han Shouzhen opened the conversation.
"What’s wrong?" Lin Xiaoguai placed the washed dishes into the cabinet.

She didn’t think managing a farm would be too difficult, especially with the help of an intelligent management system. Han Shouzhen’s eyes smiled, and she opened her mouth as if wanting to say something, but ultimately no words came out.
"What did you say?" After a few days, when the commotion among the ladies in the courtyard had finally quieted down, Lin Xiaoguai was lounging carefree in the yard, basking in the sun, when Jiang Xiaomei ran to her with a distressed expression, sharing a piece of news that shocked her.

"Forget that for now, where is he?" Lin Xiaoguai’s expression changed, "You didn’t bring him home, did you?"
"No, no," Jiang Xiaomei quickly waved her hand, "I booked him a hotel room and told him I’d find him in a couple of days."
Lin Xiaoguai first breathed a sigh of relief, then asked: "Does Yi Feng know about this?"
"Not yet, I sent Aidang to the hotel and then came to find you. I even took leave from the headteacher," Jiang Xiaomei shook her head. Luo Aidang’s arrival had left her at a loss, and she subconsciously turned to Lin Xiaoguai for guidance.
"Listen, when you go back, find Yi Feng and tell him the situation, then both of you go to meet Luo Aidang and try to send him back," Lin Xiaoguai instructed.
Honesty is most important between husband and wife, especially when Luo Aidang once had such a sensitive role.

After seeing Jiang Xiaomei off, Lin Xiaoguai sighed and, losing interest in the waning sun, went back inside to pick up a book and read.
Shen Chi returned home to find Lin Xiaoguai dozing on the windowsill. Hearing his voice, she was slow to react and half-heartedly opened her eyes, looking sleepy: "You’re back?"
"Yeah." Shen Chi extended his hand to hold her in his embrace and touched her forehead, concerned: "You don’t have a fever, why have you started to feel sleepy?"
"It’s nothing, I just finished reading a book. I was resting on the windowsill, and I accidentally fell asleep," Lin Xiaoguai reached out and hugged his neck.
Shen Chi, still a bit worried, measured her temperature against his forehead to confirm she didn’t have a fever before he relaxed and asked: "Do you want me to cook dinner?" He had come home early today, and it was just past four o’clock.
"No need, I’m not busy with anything," Lin Xiaoguai said with a chuckle, kissing his cheek.
Shen Chi returned her kiss, his voice soft: "Then I’ll assist you."
