Grabbing the hair dryer, she painstakingly and meticulously dried her wet hair while stealing glances at him through the corner of her eyes.
However, after fifteen minutes, Qin Zhiyou remained in the same position, his mobile phone screen flashing nonstop—it seemed he was engrossed in his chat.
Lu Weixi frowned; why hadn’t he rested yet? Turning her head, she saw Qin Zhiyou was already sleeping soundly, his breathing steady. It had been a while; he must be asleep by now. The controls for the bedside lamp were on his side, and Lu Weixi, working up some courage, propped herself up with one hand, and leaned over towards his side, reaching to turn off the bedside lamp.
The bed was large, and her arm wasn’t long enough to reach the switch. She had to carefully inch closer to him, making sure not to touch him.
Just as her fingers were about to hit the switch, Qin Zhiyou suddenly grabbed her wrist and rolled over.
