Secretary Wang felt a chill down his spine under his stare, leaning back as if he longed to turn around and run away.

Then Qin Zhiyou withdrew his gaze, sending a quick message, “If you want money, wait for me at home tonight.”
Both Qin Zhiyou and Lu Weixi usually took their time reading messages. Although she had lost Liu Yiyi’s order, she still had numerous cases at hand. As an interior design engineer leading a small team, they were busy from dawn to dusk. When they finally finished, it was already dark out, and they hadn’t eaten dinner. Seeing that both Xiaochen and Xiaoqian had gone out with her and were equally famished, she felt a bit embarrassed. Even though money was tight, she still could afford a meal worth a few hundred bucks. With a wave of her hand, she asked, “Is there any good place to eat nearby? I’ll treat you guys.”
