“Xiao Yue?” A low and hoarse male voice asked through the phone.
“Godfather,” Qiao Yue said.
Hearing Qiao Yue’s voice, the man’s voice carried a hint of a smile as he said, “It’s really rare for Xiao Yue to call me.”
“Godfather, Trand is going to attack Yayi tonight. I’m calling to request for backup.”
The man chuckled, “Where are your people? I remember that Chu Jia and the rest are in C-Country!”
There was a slight pant in the man’s voice in addition to his smile. Even if the man deliberately hid it from Qiao Yue, she had some guesses about what he was doing.
