231 Performing on Stage
Most students from St. Faustina’s Institution’s computer science faculty wore plaid shirts and thick glasses, but there was one student who stood out.
He had light brown hair and he looked very polite, accepting the audience’s attention with a smile.
Qiao Yue felt like she had seen this person before.
She sized up this person coldly. He seemed to have felt Qiao Yue’s gaze and even turned his head and smiled at her.
Technically, Qiao Yue was standing backstage, which was not lit. However, that student seemed to have spotted her despite the lack of light.

Before she could recall who he was, the student representatives from St. Faustina’s left the stage.
The first performance began.
Qiao Yue didn’t even have time to recall who he was before she was pulled into the queue. They were the fifth to go on stage, and Qiao Xin’s performance was right before theirs.
Qiao Xin even glanced at Qiao Yue when she went on stage.
Her voice rang out in the hall.
Qiao Yue looked out to the stage. Qiao Xin was holding the microphone with one hand and had her other hand on her chest. She was totally engrossed in her singing.
Unfortunately, even though the sound from the PA system seemed to have been autotuned and enhanced, she still sounded unpleasant.
With her abilities, she might not even excel at KTV, and she wanted to be a celebrity?
After Qiao Xin’s performance, it was time for Qiao Yue’s class to perform.
Qiao Yue was going to appear in the second act.
The first act was a folk dance led by Hong Ning.
Hong Ning had a very good foundation in dance. Her movements were smooth and perfectly in sync with the music. She danced like a flower blossoming on stage.

As soon as the dance ended, thunderous applause rang out from the audience.

Qiao Yu had thought then that Qiao Yue was just a brat who was good at seeing through people. He didn’t expect Qiao Yue to exhibit so many other aspects of him that surprised him.
If Qiao Yue were a girl, he might really like her.
“Why is Qiao Yue so good-looking? If he were a girl, our school belle can quit.” Xu Hao sighed.
“Don’t you like those innocent-looking ones? You like this type too?” Qiao Yu teased.
Xu Hao replied seriously, “I don’t like girls who are too girly. I prefer those with a little attitude.”
“If Qiao Yue were a girl, she would definitely be pretty and cool. She wouldn’t be bullied at online games either. Who wouldn’t want a girlfriend like that?”
Qiao Yu nodded. “True.”
Xu Hao felt that Qiao Yu’s tone was a little off.
“I didn’t mean it that way, okay? I’m straight.”
Xu Hao glanced at Qiao Yu. His expression didn’t change. He still had a gentle smile on his face, but his eyes were a little commanding.
After Qiao Yue finished her dance, she went backstage and asked Xu Hao and Qiao Yu, “How was it?”
Qiao Yu took the sword from her and handed her a bottle of water. “Drink some water first. You danced very well.”
