Oswald looked at Andy with narrowed eyes. He whispered, “Hypocrite.”
“Isn’t hypocrisy inherent in the Eugene family?” The girl beside him said with a smile.
Oswald rolled his eyes when he saw Minnie’s expression. “Come on, Minnie. You’re a hypocrite too. Why did you snatch the mission that Godfather gave me?”
Minnie looked at him and smiled. “Because I didn’t overestimate myself and challenge the person whom Godfather admires.”
“Godfather admires?” Oswald chuckled. “When I first met the Godfather, I thought he was a great man with no desires. But he’s now taken away my right to missions because of a girl. It’s ridiculous. I’m obviously so much more talented than her.”
Minnie smiled noncommittally. “You don’t understand Godfather, and you don’t understand the organization.”
“It’s just an organization that uses humanity to control the world. It’s not that hard to understand.” Oswald replied.
He had been trained as a member of the organization since young and he thought that he had seen through everything about the organization.
“The world is nothing but a prey in Godfather’s eyes.” Minnie took a sip of her champagne. “You know, the Godfather doesn’t like to keep canaries. He would much rather keep an eagle like it’s a canary.”
Minnie tilted her head and looked at Oswald. “Do you understand what I mean, Oswald?”
