"It’s been two weeks." Miss Night said as she calmly looked at the bald man standing in front her. Her legs were crossed and on the table. Unlike before, she was sitting on the chair while the professor stood in front.
The bald professor gulped as he bowed his head, "We have one last place! It’s a small underground bunker but it’s the farthest compared to the other hideouts we found in the past few years. They might be in there. We didn’t bother checking it because I had personally closed the entrance using a huge boulder." he said in a single breath.
"Hmm... then go. Gather everyone and set up a meeting with him right at his place." she said and disappeared.
Professor sighed and walked out of his room.
Three hours later, the professor and a group of fifteen twelve people stood in front of the cave like entrance. They only had to take a few steps to reach the door and once they did, they banged on it.
"Amon! Come out, you bastaard!!" Roark yelled as he punched the thick steel door with his bare fists.
At first, there was silence but then they heard an annoying voice filled with mockery.
"Eh? Oh it’s you! The guy who got fucked by an FF rank. Haaaa I didn’t expect you to be a masochist in search for more spankings... I’m sorry but Nyx will be getting my attention tonight. Did you know, she tastes amaz-"
"SHUT UPPPP!! You shameless buffoon!!" Nyx’s shrill voice followed with a loud banging sound.
Amon touched his forehead and looked at the red liquid on his fingers before showing it to Nyx, who immediately went silent.
"I.... I’m sorry..." she said softly but Amon just flashed her a grin and gave her a thumbs up, "Don’t worry, I was the asshole after all." he said and moved closer to the door so he could continue his MP farming. It had been a long time since he had extracted MP from people.
"Anyways!" he yelled, "Her mouth action has gotten mmmph!!"
Both Nyx and Mike dragged Amon away to stop his antics. Once they were back in their bedroom, Nyx took her hand away from his mouth and crossed her arms across her chest.
"You’re so cute when you’re angry hahahahahah!!" he laughed, which only made the girl sigh.
She shook her head slightly, "Shut up... and drink some potion. Does it hurt?"
"Huh? Oh that red liquid wasn’t blood. Just diluted ketchu-"
The sound of a palm connecting to his cheek was crisp and clear. Nyx blinked away her tears as she glared at him, "When will you stop playing these games?!! Why do you keep making me worry? Is it because I refused to sleep with you? I told you didn’t I? It’s only been a few days... I’m sorry if I made you angry but please don’t play with my feelings..."
"Well..." Amon muttered as he moved backwards and leaned against the bed, "I’m not angry with you... and I respect your wishes. I’ll never push you to do something you don’t wish to."
His tone had gone back to normal and it didn’t sound as provocative or annoying as before.
"Then why do you keep doing this? Two days ago, you acted like you completely forgot about me and Mike... this isn’t normal, Amon. It isn’t normal at all..."
Amon took a deep breath and sighed. At first, it was easy to get the two of them to produce MP but as time passed, they got immune to his antics and pranks.
Day by day, he took his pranks up a notch and now he realised that he had crossed the line already.
He silently took out a pack of cigarettes from his pocket and lit one up before taking a puff.
Fuuuu... he exhaled as he looked up at Nyx.
"I.. well... uh, fuck."
Amon took another drag, then crushed the cigarette halfway. His voice was low, almost flat.
"I’m sorry, Nyx. I forget sometimes that not everyone’s playing the same game I am. You’re right... I went too far. You don’t deserve that. Nor do you Mike..."
He looked away, scratching his neck.
"It’s not because you said no. I just... I don’t know what to do when things get quiet. Feels like if I stop joking, I’ll start thinking... and as a pessimistic overthinker, that’s worse. I won’t stop my antics but I won’t involve you guys... at least not in a humiliating way like I did a few moments ago."
Hearing his heartfelt apology, Nyx let out a soft sigh and lay down beside him on the bed before burying her face in his chest.
Amon on the other hand, gave Mike an apologetic glance before he patted the back of Nyx’s head and started playing with her furry ears.
"Hnnn~ I told you that my ears are sensitive!" she protested, but Amon didn’t stop. Not until he heard another bang at the door.
"Ah right, they’re still here..." he muttered and sighed softly before pulling away from Nyx. Then, he put on some clothes before walking towards the door.
He opened all the latches and pulled the door, opening it. Behind it stood the professor, Roark and the other awakened Valir. He also saw four new faces, three guys and one stunningly hot woman.
Before the professor could speak, the woman raised her eyebrow at Mike.
"Hmm? Mike is a common name so I didn’t think much of it when I read the files but..." she said as she squinted her eyes.
Mike let out a sigh and pushed the buckle of his belt twice, transforming back to his true appearance.
"It’s me, mama."
Amon’s mouth was ajar as he stared at the gorgeous petite girl he had been calling a gay man for the past two weeks. His state of shock didn’t stay for long as Mike’s pants dropped to the floor just a moment later.
"I keep forgetting about this..."
"Mikayla..." the woman said, her voice soft as she looked at her daughter, "Are you still out for revenge? You can’t do it.... even I can’t do it."
Mikayla gave her a charming smile, "Please fuck off, slut. Mike died to save you and you go back to suck that murderer’s dick. What gives you the right to tell me what to do and what not to do? Scram!"
