Amon listened with rapt attention and nodded, "Alright, I guess that’s a pretty good thing. I don’t wanna be one of those people who keeps having to run around, trying to save his girls. I’d rather have them strong enough to bully the others themselves."

Amon stared in silence for a few seconds before sighing exasperatedly, "That sounds a little creepy but alright. Take me out of here."
His vision quickly turned blank and the bright blue cube disappeared. The darkness only lasted a moment and he felt his eyelids open up.
Elena’s face was right in front of his and what he did not expect, was her gorgeous face to be having snot and tears all over.

Just as he thought that, a translucent screen appeared in his vision.

He slowly moved his hand and tapped on Nyx who was the closest to his hand, making her wake up in a start.
For a moment, there was silence and then, she screamed.
"AMONNN! You damn! Pig!"

While Amon was lost in his own thoughts, the others woke up. Mikayla smacked him right on his head while Elena just sat beside him with tears in her eyes, looking like she was fighting her own inner demons.
"What happened?" Aron asked as he stood up and looked down at his brother, "You’ve been like this for two whole days."
"Damn that’s a lot." Amon said and chuckled, only to bring his expression back to one of pure seriousness when he saw everyone glare at him.
Shaking his head slightly, he sat back up and snapped his fingers.
Aron stared at the translucent screen in front. It was identical to the one he usually saw.

His system screen only had those three lines and it never changed. But now, there was something below.

Mutant: Awaken using the mana core of a monster. The path is unpredictable and it can lead to either greatness or doom.
Aron stared at the screen for just a few seconds before he immediately picked the Arcane Master, afraid that it might disappear if he waited too long.

Letty got a similar pop up and she didn’t waste any time either, picking the Arcane Master class like Aron did.
’Maybe these two are meant to me together.’ Amon thought as he chuckled inwardly while he kept an eye on his screen that showed him everyone’s current status.
"What is this..." Elena asked as she looked up at Amon, "Is this related to your slumber?"
Both Nyx and Mikayla looked at him when they heard her words, waiting for an explanation.
With a nod, Amon patted the back of Nyx’s palm that was still on his lap as he explained.
"Well, yes it is related to the so-called slumber. By accepting the title of my wives, you’ll be able to pick any of those perks. As long as you exercise, you will be able to increase your stats without any limits. Daily, you can get one stat if I’m not wrong. Nah you’ll get one random stat and one specific stat based on what you pick right now."
After hearing this, Elena’s eyes moved back to her screen while her lips trembled slightly.
"Are you really going to... make me your wife? And... not toss me away?" she asked, her voice soft as she felt Mikayla patting the top of her head.
"Hey, I don’t know your past but Amon’s a great guy. He might be extremely annoying and act like a stupid bitch sometimes but he’s not someone who would push people away. In fact, he can be pretty possessive in his own way. Just a tiny bit." she said as she winked at Amon.
