The group walked out of the dungeon and Patrick disbanded the party.
"I hope we can meet tomorrow." he said as he looked at Amon, who nodded.
But then, Alicia took out a card from her ring and gave it to Amon, "I invite you to join the Academy as a staff. You can pick any subject you like or pick students to train personally. You’ll be paid regularly and you’ll also get free accommodation, food, equipment and access to multiple facilities. You can order custom weapons from students and professors too."
Amon took the card and looked at it. It had the Academy’s name and a golden stamp on it.
’Simple...’ he thought as he looked up at Alicia, "What about my family?"
"You can get three students into the academy as students. There’s no need to pay their fees. If you have anyone who’s qualified in your family, they can work as professors or assistant professors. You can also bring in servants or slaves but they won’t be getting any pay."
"Convenient..." Amon muttered as he pocketed the card, "I’ll give you an answer in a few days."
Alicia smiled, "I’ll be waiting for good news. The academy also provides a certain amount of protection against gangs. As long as you’re inside the academy’s property, no one will be able to touch you."
"I know. I’ll see you guys tomorrow then." Amon said and walked towards one of the nearby restaurants.
Once he was gone, the other two extra members also left.
"Professor, who is he?" Patricia asked, looking extremely curious but Alicia shrugged, "I don’t know. We’ll only find out if he wishes to tell us."
"But he said that he asked a married professor out..."
Alicia turned to look at her student, staring at her in silence for a few seconds before speaking, "There are many married professors. I was just one of them and I’ve had many boys ask me out. I don’t have a particular name in mind."
"Bummer... he was cool." Patricia muttered before she looked at Jordan, "Not as cool as you though!!"
Jordan just gave her a side eye before walking away.

Amon sat inside a small restaurant with a bowl of chicken soup in front.
’I got invited way too soon... what should I do?’ he mused as he took a sip.
For the next hour, he drank his soup slowly while thinking things through until he was satisfied.
After paying for his soup, he walked out and headed straight towards the mansion.
’Nyx is a half human so they won’t really hire her or take her as a student... I guess I’ll have to continue with the slave act. As for Mikey, she can join as a student and it’s the same case with my brother and Letty. Three slots done right there.’ he thought as he walked along the roads.
’The only ones left are Elena and Mona... Elena can join as my assistant or take on the role of a professor since she’s an elf but Mona... she’s got history, which isn’t great. If I leave her out alone, who knows what Raul will do... I guess the only option is to take him out first.’
Amon suddenly took a detour, changing his mask to the plain white one as he looked through the market to see if he could find something good.
’Let’s go wreak some havoc... I wanna deal enough damage to the red baron gang, enough to cripple them for a few days atleast.’ he thought as he browsed through the items and shook his head.
There weren’t many useful items in the market and he had no intention of spending hundreds of thousands of coins on a single use item. Atleast not now.
He glanced at his stream points and nodded to himself before opening up his system shop.
First thing he bought, was a teleportation ticket. Safety was always the first priority.
Then, he browsed through the consumables.
’It’s a pity that I can only buy D plus ranked items...’ he thought as he kept looking through them before shaking his head.
’System, do the honors. Recommend me stuff that will help me out the most.’

’Hmm... right, growth type weapons. I don’t wanna read through every weapon’s descriptions so pick them all out for me.’

Amon read through the information on all the weapons and nodded to himself.
Black Iron Turtle Shield was an amazing shield that looked like a turtle shell. It gave 10% damage reduction passively and another 10% if the attacks were blocked by it.
It repaired itself as long as it was given enough mana, which made it an item that Amon could use for however long he wished to.
Blood flame gloves also had good synergy with Amon’s skill kit but it wasn’t as good as the shield. It allowed him to burn the people he punched and the burn damage was based on his total health.
’One percent of my health as magic damage per burn stack. In total, I can stack up to ten so that’s like ten percent of my health per second. I’m taking it... but damn it’s pricey.’ he thought and shook his head, leaving the weapon for some other day.
He bought the Black Iron Turtle Shield for 1200 stream points and looked at it for a few seconds.
It was pitch black and matt, with the hexagonal patterns looking like they were filled with pure gold.
He lifted it up and let it fall behind him.
Instead of falling to the ground, it stuck to his back.
Amon stared down at the ground for a few seconds before chuckling, ’The pervy sage is here, ho ho ho! Now... I guess I gotta get a staff and a white beard to complete the cosplay.’
