YEJUN was so close to crushing Minsu’s phone while scrolling on his cousin’s social media account.
He didn’t have socmed accounts, so he had to borrow Minsu’s phone.
"Yejun-ah, I’ll kill you if you break my phone."
"Yes, Noona," Yejun said absent-mindedly, still scrolling on the ’feed’ quite aggressively. The more edited pictures of Wonhee and Hamin he saw, the angrier he got. But a particular post made him stop. "What’s this?"
It was an edited picture of Wonhee and Hamin wearing the same pair of sunglasses.
Clearly, the two were in different events. And yet, the picture was edited as if Wonhee and Hamin took the photo together.
Yejun knitted his eyebrows. "Green-eyed Monster?"
"It’s a luxury eyewear brand," Minsu said. "Wony and Guildmaster Hamin are both ambassadors for that brand. You know, that eyewear brand is known for choosing only the best-looking celebrities." Official source is N0veI.Fiɾe.net
"Bullshit. If that was the criteria, they would have chosen Song Moonho over Cyborg Hyung."
"Well, they actually wanted someone from the Big 4. But the Big 4 stopped accepting brand deals at some point. They also tried to get Vice President Yeon Soobin and Director Shin Geon, but both declined because they were government officials. So, the Green-eyed Monster ended up choosing Guildmaster Hamin as their male ambassador."
"What about choosing Wonhee?"
Minsu smiled proudly. "Wony was their first and only choice, of course. You know Wony was famous for being prettier than all of Korea’s Awakened People before she awakened, right? That’s how she didn’t lose her brand deals despite being inactive as an actress."
"Noona, how do you know all of that?"
"I didn’t lie when I said I was Wony’s fan. Just so you know, I buy all the brands that she endorses— even luxury bags I find ugly. I’d empty my bank account for her."
"Noona, Wonhee is mine."
"Wony isn’t anyone’s property."
Yejun just rolled his eyes. "Noona, I don’t know about sunglasses. Can you choose one for me— the one that suits my face the most? I’ll pay, of course."
His shining Black Card was back in his hands, after all.
But if he went to the shopping mall on his own, he would only cause a commotion.
"Why do you suddenly need sunglasses?"
"Because Wonhee is wearing sunglasses today, Noona."
"I also need a new white shirt."
"Because Wony is wearing a pretty white dress today?"
Yejun leaned against his seat and clicked his tongue. "Why are all my clothes dark?"
"Because you have a dark soul."
Minsu just laughed and got up from her seat. "I’m gonna go shopping for you real quick."
Yejun nodded. "Thanks, Noona."
[I should match my wardrobe with Wonhee’s from now on.]
While waiting for his cousin to return, he brought out his crocheting materials from his Inventory. He was ignoring the mountains of documents that needed his signature in his desk as he did so.
He had something more important to finish, after all.
Yejun smiled to himself. "Of course, I can’t show up without a bouquet of pretty flowers for Wonhee, right?"
WONHEE had always known Yejun was handsome.
But his overall look for today was legendary.
[Those glasses made him look like a movie star...]
Yejun’s aura was lighter and more amicable because he was wearing a white shirt for once. He still had a black turtleneck shirt under the white shirt, though.
But it didn’t matter.
Yejun’s sexy forearms were exposed because the sleeves of his button-down shirt were rolled up. But, aside from that, the harness and the black fingerless gloves that completed his outfit were the reasons he looked hotter than usual.
[I will never understand why Song Moonho-ssi is hailed as the most handsome Hunter in Korea when Hwang Yejun exists...]
"Wonhee-ya," Yejun called her name affectionately while walking fast towards her, and then he stopped right in front of her with a small smile on his face. "Are you done with your business here?"
Wonhee was confused, but she nodded politely. She had to be mindful of her manners towards the #1 Hunter in Korea because all eyes were on them. "Yes, Hunter Hwang Yejun-ssi. But why are you here?"
"Why are you suddenly speaking politely? We’re the same age, so speak comfortably."
[He really doesn’t care about his public image...]
Wonhee smiled anyway and nodded. "What are you doing here, Yejun-ah?"
"I came to pick you up," Yejun said, handing the bouquet of crochet flowers to Wonhee. "Here, for you."
[Ah, the crochet flowers are really for me.]
She may or may not have blushed.
"Thank you, Yejun-ah," Wonhee said, smiling shyly. "Can you lean down for a moment?"
Yejun smiled and nodded before he leaned down.
She then whispered in his ear while covering her mouth with the bouquet of crochet flowers.
"Yejun-ah, don’t pretend you don’t see Hamin-ssi," Wonhee whispered in Yejun’s ear. "Don’t do things that might ruin your reputation again, okay?"
Yejun chuckled while nodding. "Yes, ma’am."
["I’M SORRY, Yool-ah— I’m really sorry..."]
Yool knew he was dreaming at the moment.
That was the only explanation for the ’scenario’ unfolding before him— the older Graham running away with the older and unconscious Ahn Kisoo in his arms.
The older Yool standing like an idiot with a betrayed look on his face.
Yool didn’t know the context of what he had just seen, but he could feel what the older Yool was feeling at the moment.
[I was abandoned, huh?]
To be precise, the older Yool was abandoned by the older Graham and Ahn Kisoo.
The ’scenario’ finally disappeared.
And when Yool opened his eyes...
"Are you alright?" Graham asked worriedly while touching his face. "You were crying."
Yool automatically touched his face and, much to his shock, his cheeks were wet with tears. "Graham-ssi, just what did you do to me?"
That was actually Yool’s question for the Graham from the previous world.
