"Come in." Paul was drinking coffee at his desk in the early morning.
"You wanted to see me, father?" Laura stepped inside.
Paul frowned. "I told you to never call me that in the office."
"...Excuse me, Sir." Laura lowered her head.
A few moments later, Pauls' face eased. "You came in early again, that's good."
She nodded. "As you've always said: if one wants to succeed in this company, they need to arrive earliest and leave latest."
At her response, Paul showed a rare smile. "That's commendable that you listened." He hadn't noticed the dark circles under her eyes covered by makeup… "Well, the reason I've called you is I need you to take care of something for me. You remember that intern Benjamin Romero who we hired several days ago?"
Laura nodded. 'How could I forget…'
After sipping his coffee, Paul explained further. "He's been assigned to our department and I'm going to put him under you. I require you to help him...exit the company."
Laura creased her eyebrows. It took her a second to understand the implication, and she didn't like it. "May I ask…why, Sir?"
Paul thinned his eyes, but still answered her. "The company doesn't need such inexperienced people causing chaos in the office. He'll only be a ticking time bomb for our department and will hurt our evaluation with upper management."
Laura didn't agree. She thought Ben showed promise during the interview, but she could only listen to the man who was her father and boss. She sighed inside but still complied. "I understand, I'll handle it."
"Good, you can return to work." Paul returned his attention to his computer.
As Laura walked out of his office, she frowned. She didn't want this new task, but what could she do? This was the career she chose.

After Annabelle left to return home, Ben prepared for work. He made an error in judgment last night. The way it worked out, he hadn't used her breasts as pillows, but her asscheeks…
Seeing her was a nice change of pace for him. He knew it was important to keep regular contact with the girls he was dating; if not seeing them, at least texting. Of course, he was also texting his other girls on a regular basis. In fact, there was some science to it. Antonio told him that after having sex, how often to keep in touch depended on the girl.
A lot of girls preferred aloof guys, which included Annabelle, but Katie and Miyuki were more sensitive, Katie in particular. So if he didn't see the two of them, Ben texted them and shared a few lines of banter every day. In fact, Katie texted him often herself so he didn't even have to reach out to her.
After getting dressed, Ben was ready for his first day of work, and off he went.

After visiting Human Resources, he'd received directions to his new workplace and soon arrived at his floor. Walking inside, he marveled at the amount of busy and serious office people working hard so early in the morning. This was his first proper job after all.
"Benjamin…" A voice called out to him.
Turning around, he saw a pleasant sight. Sexy office lady Laura was looking as good as ever, with her glasses, black high heels, exposed legs, black skirt, and a cute pink dress shirt.
"Good morning." Ben smiled, but he was being less formal than responding to the mental image of her bent over a desk…
Remembering where they left off last, he opened her attraction status…and frowned.

'What the hell happened?' The last time he interviewed her, her attraction rose 3 levels, but now it dropped all the way back down. This decay was too fast for it to be a natural process. Still, Ben didn't have a clue what the issue was, so he didn't dwell on it.
At the moment, the only ones who knew the reason for Laura's change in mindset were her, and Paul.
With an icy demeanor, she welcomed Ben to his new job, although she believed he wouldn't be staying long. "Welcome to the Public Relations Department at Hearth Communications. Here, our primary duties are interacting with external stakeholders of the company. You've been temporarily assigned to work under me. My specific job deals with arranging, scheduling, and managing relationships between many of Hearth's media departments and outside associates."
"...Could you give me an example of what you mean by outside associates?" Ben's head was already getting messy from the business jargon, but he needed to learn everything to reach his goals. 'I need to hurry and get boss status so I can take part in the famous exchange of p*ssy for promotions.'

Laura adjusted the glasses on her frigid face. "Outside associates include advertising clients, corporate partners, audience groups, government agencies, and many more. We even manage the bookings for celebrities and guests for many of our video and print publications. Understand?"
Ben nodded. 'She's back to her usual cheery self…'
"Good. In that case, let's get started right away. As an intern, I'll be sending you to liaison between various internal and external parties to handle many tasks." She then showed a teasing smile. "I'm sure you'll learn a lot…"
He didn't like the look of that smile at all. It reminded him of the smile kids gave to ants before taking out their magnifying glasses... Or like he gave to girls, as they were blowing him near completion and had no idea what was incumming…
Either way, he didn't want to be on the end of that smile…unless it was with his shonson...
It's too bad he had no other choice.
"Follow me." Laura turned around and led the way. She'd already thought of many "interesting" challenges to send Ben into hell. Little did she know, he was already experiencing his first challenge—looking at her ass while trying to keep his boner down.
However, soon, something else captured all his attention.
