A servant stood beside Frank Parker, handing him a glass of ice-cold mineral water. Frank took it, drank a few sips, and looked at the screen of the disconnected call. After pondering for a moment, he threw the phone onto the table.
A maid handed him a peeled, iced grape, respectfully saying, "Mr. Parker."
Frank raised his head, a glint of darkness flashing through his narrow, soft eyes. His slender, jade-like fingers ran slowly along the cold glass edge, and he said in a deep voice, "Put it down, nobody needs to be served here anymore, leave."
Frank had just bathed and was wrapped in a white towel, lounging lazily on a sofa beside the pool.
The exposed chest and the long, straight, powerful legs were visually striking.
His skin was exceptionally fair and cold-toned, like a vampire in the movies. Sunlight shined on him, making beads of water rolling down his chest refract sparkling light as if they were embedded diamonds.
