Seeing the emotionless stare from Brandon Heath, Luke quickly explained: "I’m not doubting her. It’s just that everyone who appeared at your side last night should be investigated thoroughly; we’ve always done it this way."
He emphasized that they had always done so.
He implied to Brandon Heath that he shouldn’t play favorites just because he had slept with this person.
He shouldn’t blindly trust her.

Luke heaved a sigh of relief.
Luckily, the Minister was rational and wasn’t bewitched by beauty.

Brandon Heath slightly lifted his drooping glance and said with a furrowed brow: "She might be uncomfortable after last night... Go find her."
Luke was surprised: "Minister, are you asking about the lady from last night? Why should I find her...intending to do what?"

Why should he look for her again?
"Hmm. When you find her, ask her if there’s anything else she wants."
