"Joanna Lawrence," he murmured her name.
"Hmm," Joanna hummed softly in response.
"I’m glad you’re okay." Ashton tightened his arms, burying his nose in the scent of her hair. He still felt fearful thinking about the danger she faced earlier, "I’m glad you’re standing in front of me safe and sound."
