Ashton Heath frowned, "But it’s burnt."
"It’s not that burnt," Joanna glanced at the charred lump in her bowl, then lied through her teeth, "It just looks bad, but when I tasted it earlier, it wasn’t too bad."
After all, it was the first meal Ashton Heath had ever cooked for her.
