After the pregnancy examination, Jing Yichen drove Shangguan Ning home.
He held Shangguan Ning’s hands tightly all the way home as if she would go missing any minute.
As they came home, Shangguan Ning leaned against Jing Yichen’s shoulders and listened to him telling jokes in a low and sexy voice.
The son came home in panic. “Dad, I scored zero in today’s test.”
Father was very annoyed. “Don’t call me dad next time you fail the test!”
The following day, the son came back again. “Sorry, brother!”
Shangguan Ning burst into laughter after hearing him telling the joke with a straight face. “I don’t think our son will get a chance to call you brother, don’t worry!”
Jing Yichen smiled too. “Oh yes, although you are not as smart, yet our son will get really smart even if he inherits only half of my brain!”
Shangguan Ning reached out and pinched his cheek.
Jing Yichen cried out in pain purposefully and then said, “I will tell you another.”
The son sent an e-mail to his father. “Dad, Berlin is a very nice place. Everyone is friendly here, but I feel a bit ashamed to go to school, because everyone else takes subway here whilst I am driving a top class Mercedes-Benz.”
Father replied. “I have just transferred 200 million USD to you. Don’t make me lose my face, go and buy a subway!”
Shangguan Ning laughed so hard after she understood the joke.
This was indeed a reflection of Jing Yichen. He might do the exact same thing as a wealthy and vulgar father when he had a son in the future.
Jing Yichen continued to tell some more jokes about father and son, making Shangguan Ning laugh until tears ran down her eyes. She threw herself into Jing Yichen’s arms. “Where did you get all of these father and son jokes? They are hilarious.”
Jing Yichen massaged Shangguan Ning’s belly softly and said with a smile on his face, “I keep reading such jokes these days. They are very funny, so I wanted to share them with you.”
He felt that it would definitely be a very happy matter if he got a son in the future.
He wouldn’t be cold to his son like his father was.
He would be strict when it was necessary for him to be. But he was also going to get close to his child. He was going to give his son a happy and unforgettable childhood.
Of course, the most important thing was to keep Shangguan Ning safe. He must have a complete home.
Jing Yichen felt himself completely satiated with a loving wife besides him and a child on the way. At the same time, he started to feel burdened with even more responsibility. He was going to be a father soon.

“I don’t think that I need such a high-end car. Father is being too nice to me.”
“True. Dad favors you more. I am his son but he ignores me completely. He has given you all the best things.” Jing Yichen sounded sour, but looked cheerful. “I have always wanted to replace your Audi, but you never approved of my idea. Good that dad has given you a Volkswagen. Drive it, so that I can feel assured.”
Shangguan Ning got excited and extracted herself out of Jing Yichen’s arms. “Where is my little tank? Let me try it!”
Jing Yichen laughed and then took her to the underground parking lot.
The car did look like an ordinary Volkswagen, but the differences could be noticed after one sat down inside.
Jing Yichen taught her how to use various functions of the car. Since the car was tailor-made for Shangguan Ning, she found that everything was easy to use. The only thing that she had not seen before were the guns and the launcher.
Jing Yichen explained everything to her and then said calmly, “That is just for your security. Dad is worried that you might not be completely safe when you drive out alone.”
The truth was that the situation hadn’t been stable recently, otherwise Jing Yichen would not have taught Shangguan Ning how to use guns in such a serious way.
He couldn’t be by Shangguan Ning’s side every second. And even if he was, there would still be unpredictable danger. She would be much safer with such protection.

He would try his best to deal with the potential dangers and handle Jing Yiran.
Shangguan Ning had not noticed that Jing Yichen was preoccupied. She was just focused on learning all the maneuvers.
She didn’t know how to use a gun, but there must be a reason why Jing Yichen was teaching her so intently.
