Shangguan Ning didn’t want to talk with Xie Zhuojun any more and didn’t want to get angry with him either.
But that man always had a way to annoy people.
Shangguan Ning took a deep breath and calmed herself down before replying in composure. “First of all, I am the boss and I can fire whomever I want. You have no right to tell me what I should do.”
“Secondly, I fired Luo Rong not because of you. Please don’t think so highly of yourself. I fired him because he was not honest and gave a false report.”
“Thirdly, if you are such a just person, why not get him into your own company. What are you arguing with me for? If he is so good, why don’t you make him your director of purchase?”
Shangguan Ning did not talk very loudly but her voice made Xie Zhuojun tremble.
Shangguan Ning spoke in such a logical and critical way and made it clear that it had been Luo Rong who was the cause of his termination and no one would dare to hire anyone like him.
Family Xie had no ability to hire Luo Rong, anyways. Luo Rong had a salary of 13,000 yuan per month and he needed other compensation, as well. Liyu Science & Technology had given him a car and long-term accommodation, which was not something Family Xie in the present state could afford.
Xie Zhuojun wanted Luo Rong to get back to Liyu Science & Technology, otherwise he would feel guilty for his brother!
He assumed that Shangguan Ning would spare him. She had been a soft-hearted person who couldn’t stand seeing others being in trouble.
Xie Zhuojun softened his tone when he thought of this.
“Luo Rong is not a bad person. He was badgered by me for too long before he agreed to help me. Since you are the boss of the company, can’t you just take him back in? Your company can afford his salary. He needs a way to survive!”
Shangguan Ning had never expected that Xie Zhuojun was here to plead on behalf of Luo Rong. She simply had no time or energy to care about this minor matter at the moment. She got extremely annoyed when her precious time was wasted because of Luo Rong and Xie Zhuojun!
“This is my final word – I will not accept Luo Rong back in. Get out of here now!”
Shangguan Ning said as she pushed the door open and walked out, leaving Xie Zhuojun seated alone inside the room, dumbfounded.
Xie Zhuojun had got shocked beyond words after hearing a phrase like “get out” from Shangguan Ning.
She was someone who never talked rudely.
Xie Zhuojun had not yet recovered when the door was opened. He looked up with hope only to see a little girl holding a large lollipop entering the room.
The little girl looked at him with her head-tilted sideways and asked crisply, “Are you Xie?”
Xie Zhuojun nodded subconsciously, “Yes, I am Xie.”
The little girl let out a sigh of relief. “Oh, there you are. My Brother Jing asked me to toss you out and I will do that now. Don’t cry out in pain!”
Eyes widened, Xie Zhuojun wondered if there was something wrong with this little girl that she talked in such an exaggerating way.
If Lu had known what Xie Zhuojun was thinking at the moment, she would certainly nod seriously – yes, I am sick in the brain.
But she didn’t know that, so…
With the large lollipop clenched between her teeth, she exerted some force and carried the tall Xie Zhuojun upon her shoulders.
Then she walked quickly to the window and tossed him out as Xie Zhuojun looked at her in shock and fright.
They had been on the 3rd floor!
It took only a second before a large sound arose. Master Xie fell upon one of the garbage trucks behind the building of Jingsheng.
As the garbage truck cleaned up the garbage of Jingsheng Enterprise, the driver turned around and took a look before mumbling to himself, “Garbage truck for garbage only.”
Having said the words, he started the engine and drove towards the dump located in the outskirts.
When he reached the dumpyard, the driver dropped the load into a pile of rubbish and then drove off, humming.
It was a pity that Master Xie dressed in a brand new fancy suit climbed out of the pile of rubbish with bruises over his face. It was already dark outside. Even the dogs at the dumpyard had fallen asleep.

In the living room, Shangguan Ning, who looked conspicuously worried, was sitting next to Jing Yichen. Opposite her was Mu Qing who looked even more worried whilst next to him was Zheng Jing who was bone tired.
They had been seeking Zhao Anan for days and she was still nowhere to be seen.
Large amounts of influence and people had been used to search every corner of A City and the UK. Zheng Jing, together with Mu Qing, had been to every possible place Zhao Anan could be at, yet it had been fruitless.
“Master Jing, Zhao Anan can’t be in A City, otherwise my men would find her, unless…”
Zheng Jing had been on run all these days and had not had a proper rest for days. He even sounded hoarse.
Zheng Jing might have been thought of as Zhao Anan’s boyfriend in outsiders’ eyes.
Zheng Jing didn’t continue what he was about to say, when he saw Mu Qing whose eyes were completely bloodshot.
Shangguan Ning was anxious. Fearing that something might have happened to Zhao Anan, she said anxiously, “Unless what?”
“Unless Anan has been kidnapped by someone else on the sly.”
It had been Jing Yichen who replied to her question calmly.
He didn’t care about Zhao Anan’s love life or career, but if someone became a threat for Zhao Anan, he would hurt those who hurt her, without mercy!
Shangguan Ning got even more anxious hearing what he said.
Mu Qing’s fists clenched. The nails went deeply into his palm yet he didn’t feel the pain.
His body was already numb towards every pain except for the heartache.
With Shangguan Ning’s hands in his, Jing Yichen said softly, “It is just a conjecture at this time. Our men have searched every corner of A City and Anan should not have been captured. The search in the UK continues. She is more likely to be there.”
