“How moving! Both of you are deeply in love with each other!”
Sitting in the car, Tang Shunian said with a sneer.
Shangguan Ning could tell that he was displeased, but she was not sure what had made him unhappy.
Mentally disturbed people tended to be unpredictable. Even the smallest matter could offend him, so Shangguan Ning did not take it seriously.
As long as Tang Shunian did not vent his anger upon Jing Yichen, it was fine.
“Mr. Tang, what would make you release him? I can match whatever figure, if it is money that you want.”
“Money? Oh, maybe I can be pleased to make Jing Yichen suffer a little bit less if you offer me enough.”
Tang Shunian’s mood immediately improved when he heard the word – money.
He was a wealthy person, but he had large expenses. He had spent more than 70 million yuan upon building this indestructible cellar, and supporting the strong hitmen cost him a great deal of money as well.
His salary as the mayor was also spent on other things. He was trying to expand his gang all the way to the USA. A large chunk of money making process was established there but he was still short of money.
Shangguan Ning had not expected that money would move Tang Shunian, because he was a maniac.
“How much do you want?”
Shangguan Ning knew that if Tang Shunian asked for the money, the number would be very high. He must be aware of the vast wealth the Jing Family had, and would not let go of this opportunity to squeeze out as much as possible.
Sure enough, Tang Shunian said without hesitation, “I heard that the Jing Family has billions, and is ranked amongst the top ten in the Global Forbes List. If that is the case, I have to ask for enough to match the Jing Family’s face. What about 100 billion! I am sure that Jing Yichen’s life is worth several hundreds of billions. But I am not asking for that much.”
Shangguan Ning truly wanted to curse him right now. He was daydreaming about getting that much money.
The Jing Family was wealthy, but it was not possible for them to get 100 billion yuan cash at one go.
“Mr. Tang, you are way too greedy. I can’t possibly remove this much money from the Jing Family, because my father will definitely get to know about it, and he won’t agree.”
“Oh, Miss Shangguan, you can’t lie to me about this. No one knows better than me that Jing Zhongxiu cares a great deal about his precious son. Eleven years ago, I caught his son and he bombed the entire hill. Everyone who was inside was all gone. My poor brothers, they all went to hell.”
Shangguan Ning failed to trick Tang Shunian. That was unexpected!
She thought quickly and then said calmly, “It is a large amount of money and I can not get this much on my own!”
“I don’t care. I need money, and it doesn’t concern me how you get it. But, after you get me the money, I can let you and Jing Yichen meet. How does that sound?”
Tang Shunian came out of a deep underground exit and entered another underground entry. He then parked at the gate after taking roundabouts alongside the entry.
As he was making the call with Shangguan Ning, he came out of the car, checked in with the fingerprint, and entered the room.
This cellar was about 1 kilometer away from where Jing Yichen was, but it was buried deeper and covered an area of 300 square meters. It was solid and luxuriously decorated. There were four other hidden passages that led to the outside world from here.
Tang Shunian was a person who always felt insecure. He not only liked constructing cellars, but also liked building them to be as firm as a castle. He did not like seashore villas full of sunshine and fresh air, but this kind of isolated environment.
He had various gangs, casinos and services across the world. He also sold weapons! These were not very safe deals, but he was able to gain a large amount of wealth every year.
Tang Shunian never kept this wealth, but spent it all upon building different underground kingdoms, some of which were sold at high prices and some were kept for his own use.

Tang Shunian was an expert in building underground cellars. No one was more capable than he was.
As long as there was enough money, he would even be able to build a cellar that could withstand an attack from atomic bombs!
The cellar where he was right now had a strong defense system, and he was not at all worried about any sort of attack.
Tang Shunian entered the cellar that was almost as luxurious as the presidential suite of a five-star hotel, turned on the TV and watched Jing Yichen in combat with a group of people, smiling in satisfaction.
“Miss Shangguan, I spent a great deal of money over the past years because of Jing Yichen, and the Jing Family must compensate me for it. I had planned to negotiate with Jing Zhongxiu, because he is Jing Yichen’s father. But I don’t think I can win while talking with him, so I should turn to you, a naive woman. Give me enough money, so that Jing Yichen lives. Or, I will have to sell his organs to accumulate the money!”
Tang Shunian had no plans to keep Jing Yichen alive, but he was still of great value at the moment, so he could not die.
He could make use of Jing Yichen to get control of Jingsheng’s business empire, and take revenge upon Jing Zhongxiu through him!
As for Shangguan Ning, Tang Shunian was not going to release her either. He had become extremely possessive and curious about her. He wanted to see if she could cure his strong obsession.
After being silent for a bit, Shangguan Ning said, “Money is not the problem. I can give you 100 billion yuan, as long as you leave my husband alone.”
