Han Meiling couldn't help but laugh at Lin Yifan's serious demeanour; this was the first time she had encountered such a naive and silly boy.
"What's so funny?" Lin Yifan asked.
"You little brat! You're overthinking it. I'm just playing a game," Han Meiling responded nonchalantly.
"A game? I don't believe it," Lin Yifan insisted, believing what he'd heard with his own ears.
"You don't believe it? Then go check out my room for yourself," Han Meiling said with a laugh.
"Fine, I'll search. Don't think I won't dare!" Lin Yifan said, and stepped boldly into the room.
"I have things to do; I won't check today."
Having said that, Lin Yifan turned and left.
Back in his own room, he let out a deep sigh of relief.
Reflecting on that scene, Lin Yifan was really scared.
In front of Han Meiling, he felt like an inexperienced little brat, completely managed by her.
Meanwhile, watching Lin Yifan hastily leave, Han Meiling revealed a mischievous smile, "Sooner or later, I'll have you, just you wait."
