Now that her leg was caught by Lin Yifan, her entire snow-white jade-like leg was exposed in front of him, extremely awkward.
"What are you yelling about! Didn't you wrap yourself in a towel? What could I have possibly seen?" Lin Yifan was at a loss for words.
Being falsely accused out of the blue, he was in a really bad mood.
"You peeked at me taking a bath, that's vile, that's shameless, that's lecherous!" Xiaolian retorted.
She believed that Lin Yifan must have spied on her from outside the bathroom for a while, the thought of such despicable behavior made her feel sick to her stomach. She even suspected that Lin Yifan faking his drunkenness was just a ruse to get into her home, to peek at her bathing, and to harbor ill intentions toward her.
"Come on! I only just got to the door, stop throwing accusations at every turn!" Lin Yifan was extremely fed up.
He also hadn't expected to bump into Xiaolian just as she emerged from the bath. If he had known she was showering, he wouldn't have been standing at the door.
"If you're fine, why aren't you lying down in bed to rest, but instead loitering around the bathroom door? It's clear you wanted to peep." Xiaolian didn't buy his excuses.
In this world, how could such coincidences really happen, just bumping into each other like that.
"Beauty, I was bursting for a wee, needed to use the toilet; where else was I supposed to go if not to the bathroom?" Lin Yifan retorted, clearly irritated.
Now, he really was feeling awfully uncomfortable. Even if she had been completely naked, he wouldn't have found the slightest interest.
Seeing Lin Yifan's legs together, his body leaning slightly forward, hands cupping his crotch, and a desperate, pained look on his face, it seemed like he really was desperate to pee.

"Fine! You don't believe it, huh? Alright, come with me, and I'll pee right now for you to see." After saying this, Lin Yifan dragged Xiaolian into the bathroom.

In the living room, there was no sign of Xiaolian; the door was tightly closed, she was probably inside changing her clothes; therefore, Lin Yifan, with his dull headache, made his way to the sofa and poured himself a glass of water to drink.
After a minute, Xiaolian came out of her room wearing pajamas.
Staring at Lin Yifan who was sitting on the sofa, her face turned color and she immediately burst out, "You lecherous jerk! Shameless! Get out!"
"Before I go, I want to clear up a few things; first, who are you? Second, why am I here? Third, who took off my clothes?" Lin Yifan sat on the sofa, sipping the water, and calmly raised his questions.
Everything was so inexplicable; he clearly remembered drinking in the bar, so how come he woke up here? Moreover, his upper body was nearly stripped naked, and she was bathing; his mind couldn't help but wander, as it all seemed too much like a scene from a movie.
"I'm the female bartender who mixed your drinks at the bar, I saw you completely drunk, then considering you saved me last night and gave me money to pay my debts, I decided to take care of you. Afterward, with great effort, I got you to my rental place. Seeing as you vomited and your shirt got dirty, I took it off you to clean the vomit off your body. That's what happened, explained it all, now you can leave!" Xiaolian explained everything point by point.
She had felt goodwill towards him, but that dissolved completely after this peeping incident. Don't underestimate such a small act; it can reflect a person's character.
"No, that's not how the story goes, it should be : I was drunk, and then you, seeing I had some charm and money, suddenly had a wicked idea; you did whatever you could to get the drunk me to your home; then, while I was still drunk, you took off my clothes; next, you took a bath to prepare to ravish me, and finally, cook up a fait accompli to force me to take responsibility and accept you," Lin Yifan speculated on his own.
"Rubbish! That's not what happened at all." Xiaolian was furious.
She had good intentions bringing him home to take care of him, yet he was not only ungrateful but also slandered her, and now she really felt like dying.
"Then how do you prove that it was because of vomiting that my clothes were removed and not because you did it voluntarily?" Lin Yifan inquired.
"Those filthy clothes of yours are still on the balcony, you don't believe me, I'll fetch them for you right now." After saying this, Xiaolian angrily ran to the balcony, snatched up the smelly clothes from the bucket, and brought them back to Lin Yifan to see.
"Here you go! See for yourself!" Once back in the living room, she threw those dirty clothes at Lin Yifan.
Even before the clothes landed, Lin Yifan could smell a vile stench; he quickly dodged, not daring to catch them.
"Why are you moving away, isn't this your clothing?" Xiaolian said angrily.
"Beauty, I was wrong, I'm sorry, I'm leaving now!" It wasn't appropriate to stay any longer, Lin Yifan thought it was best to leave.
With that, he dashed out, not looking back.
Looking at Lin Yifan, walking out with his shoulders bare, Xiaolian suddenly felt a twinge of pity; because the temperature at night was still quite cold, especially deep into the night; his upper body was only covered by a thin tank top, she worried he would catch a cold.
No matter how fierce she appeared to be, in reality, her heart was actually quite kind.
Thinking back to last night, Lin Yifan stepping forward courageously to save her, she suddenly realized she had done wrong.
