"Why can't you do it yourself? Do you still want to play the bodyguard for that boss?" Su Qingqing was puzzled.
"I have no choice! Some debts of gratitude must be repaid; now that they are in trouble and danger, I can't just leave," Lin Yifan responded.
"Then why don't you ask your girlfriend to take over? Why ask a stranger like me? Do you really trust me that much?" Su Qingqing continued to inquire.
"She has her own things to take care of, that's the first issue. Second, given your true feelings for me, would I still be afraid that you'd take the company away from me? Besides, the company isn't really mine; my loss wouldn't be great; it's you who would lose the person you love the most," Lin Yifan said, staring into Su Qingqing's eyes.
Su Qingqing was a person of good character and wholeheartedly sincere towards him, so he felt very reassured.
"Hmph! Always using my feelings to threaten me," Su Qingqing pouted, somewhat unhappy.

"Yes!" Lin Yifan answered firmly.
"Thank you, my Prince Charming!" After saying that, Su Qingqing kissed Lin Yifan on the face.
Lin Yifan's nerves tingled, and he felt goosebumps all over his body.
Just then, an auntie came over and said, "Excuse me, young people, please move aside so I can open the door and go upstairs."
The sudden voice startled Lin Yifan.
With their secret encounter interrupted, the atmosphere grew awkward. Lin Yifan touched his head and said with a silly laugh, "Well... this is where I'll leave you, see you tomorrow."
