"I came looking for you," Lin Yifan answered directly, without beating around the bush.

"I have a betting slip in my hand. I came here based on the address on it; as for why I'm looking for you, of course, it's for something important," Lin Yifan explained.
"What important thing?" Yi Chen continued to inquire.
"I have a high-paying job for you, are you interested?" Lin Yifan probed.
"A high-paying job? What kind of high-paying job?" Upon hearing the words "high-paying," Yi Chen immediately showed interest; his reaction mirrored Lin Yifan's previous display.
"Team Leader for company security!" Lin Yifan answered.
This was the only vacant position in his company, and also the most crucial one; the person for this position needed to have his approval, and he found no one more suitable than Yi Chen, the sincere and straightforward monk.
