"Alright!" In no time, Lin Yifan brought over another split coconut, handing it to An Qi.
After guzzling down three coconuts, An Qi finally felt full; she then sat down on the ground to rest.
No sooner had she sat down than she began to sneeze repeatedly, clearly having caught a chill.
At this moment, Lin Yifan came over with concern and asked, "Baby! Are you alright?"
"I'm fine! Just a bit cold, I think," An Qi replied.
The pants that had nearly dried from her earlier dash into the sea were wet again from the water, and with the evening breeze growing cool, she started feeling chilly.
"Then you should hurry up and take off your wet pants," Lin Yifan suggested. He hadn't thought much of it; he just didn't want An Qi to stay in wet pants and catch cold.

The next moment, a strange noise sounded, drawing An Qi's attention.
Looking in the direction of the noise, she saw something that nearly drove her mad.
Suddenly, she let out a scream, then clamped her eyes shut, refusing to look again.
An Qi's frenzied reaction genuinely startled Lin Yifan.
Upon hearing this, An Qi immediately became unhappy and reproached, "Oh!!! So you two have progressed to this point. Great! You've really kept me in the dark, haven't you! And here I've been pining for you, working hard day and night, hoping to be with you sooner, completely blind."
"It's not like that at all; besides, back then, I had no idea you liked me; so you can't blame me. And I gave you my first kiss, so you're not at a loss," Lin Yifan answered.
"Your first kiss? You've never kissed a woman before?" An Qi was shocked, and beyond that, overjoyed.
"No! I've only ever kissed you," Lin Yifan responded.
He felt like fate was playing tricks on him; An Qi was the first woman he'd met, and now, she'd also been the first woman he kissed, giving him quite the feeling of bittersweet enemies.
"Oh yeah! That's awesome! The first kiss is mine! So happy! So happy!" An Qi jumped up with excitement, over the moon.
Lin Yifan was speechless; one moment she was angry, and the next she was jumping around joyfully, women's thoughts really were hard to understand!
"Pfft!" An Qi couldn't help laughing, finding Lin Yifan a bit pitiful.
She then said, "It's a good thing you've been in the military; otherwise, it's hard to imagine what you'd be like now, where you'd be."
She believed that Lin Yifan's patience, tolerance, and composure were all honed in the military; otherwise, Lin Yifan would have been utterly hopeless.
"Baby, you haven't answered my question yet. What perfume are you spraying?" Lin Yifan inquired.
"I didn't spray any perfume; that's just the lingering scent of my shower gel," An Qi answered.
"Oh! I see now!" Lin Yifan exclaimed, enlightened.
"What are you talking about?" An Qi asked curiously.
"Oh! Nothing, just saying you smell nice," Lin Yifan answered.
