The switchblade sped through the air, faster than a bullet.
The onlookers had just seen Lin Yifan make his move, and then the knife was plunged into the palm of the red-haired youth, instantly provoking a terrible scream from him.
The blade passed through the palm, dripping blood, a gruesome sight.

He knew very well that revealing the gang’s headquarters meant death; so either way, his fate was sealed, and he’d rather stand with his gang to protect their brothers.
Lin Yifan kept praising, though everyone felt his admiration wasn’t sincere.
Sure enough, he pulled out the knife and stabbed the youth’s thigh again.
Once more, the red-haired youth endured a heart-wrenching pain, suffering immensely.
If this continued, he might very well die from the pain—which, of course, wasn’t something he wanted to see happen.
Thus, his internal defenses were falling apart bit by bit.
“Last chance, will you talk or not?” Lin Yifan questioned one final time.
He wasn’t afraid to kill the red-haired youth, believing that he had justice on his side and that the public would defend him; hence, if the youth didn’t speak, he was indeed prepared to kill him.

The youth paused for a moment, then decided to blurt out any location to mislead Lin Yifan.
After all, he would never truly reveal the headquarters of his gang.

He then asked the other gang members nearby, “Is what your boss said true?”
These gang members actually didn’t know where the headquarters was located.
They only knew where meetings were held weekly; thus, they couldn’t confirm whether Hu Ge’s claim was true or false.
However, having followed Hu Ge for so many years, they opted to consider Hu Ge’s welfare over their own and unanimously confirmed, “It’s true!”
Seeing the gang members so certain, Lin Yifan thought the red-haired youth might have indeed provided the real location of the gang’s headquarters.

I’ll trust you this once, but if I find you’ve lied, the next time we meet, I’ll take your life!”
